[That is a lot of yelling and Enkidu just watches the two people bicker from a distance. Instead of cleaning or clearing out they’re picking up items they can use and gather them on a small cart so they can take them home.

Still, when the two men start to push one another they carefully step in.]

You two are very loud. [See? They got this, such negociating skills.] If these items are bothering the both of you, help me to get rid of them. Or repair them. [At that comment they get a fiery response about how the ‘rich’ part of town dumps their ‘garbage’ in the slums. But still, all these human items don’t seem like garbage to them.]

If anything you should redifine the meaning of garbage.

[That broken cabinet over there? Perfect for plants. Those books? Intellectual stimulation. The pictures of naked people? Interesting. Enkidu is gathering it all.]


Wilde Quests - Prurient Petals [NSFW]
[Spring is Enkidu’s favorite season. It is where the Wilde starts to bloom and snow is melting away and no, they aren’t going to kill this flower, not at all. They’re the one swatting Wilders away in their attempts to burn them. Of course, humans destroy nature, but not when they’re nearby. Not on their watch…

But thing is, they do need the cunes. They actually really need some currency to pay with because a certain lump of divine clay forgot to pay rent and there is also something with water. Really, living the way a human does isn’t that easy. So once they’ve told the Wilders to back off they carefully start to gather the pollen but not damage the plants.

Still, it doesn’t take long before they start to feel aware of that hot feeling pooling between their legs. They are also breathing fast and when they move to stand it is quite obvious that they are aroused. And their head is full of it…full of lust, full of need, full of absolute, overwhelming desire. And the sheer idea of pleasure between these flowers, right here in this field is absolutely thrilling. So no, they aren’t going to beat around the bush about this.

When they turn they are already busy with shrugging out of their coat and anyone can see the yellow pollen stuck to their hair and against their skin.]

I am in need. [Enkidu’s eyes are dark with lust and they’re tugging at the hem of their shirt as they approach their quest partner.] I hope you feel the same way… [Because, really, one way or another, they need to get off…]


Wilde Quests - A Watery Pit
[They do not always expect violent outbursts coming from monsters. After all, as a former beast, they know very well that there’s more to beasts than violence and destruction. Even when that it etched upon said beast.

When this creature shows itself it does not seem to lash out, it remains still and cries out a couple of words.]

Do you still want to kill it?

[Enkidu looks at the person close to them.]

I think it can be reasoned with.

[Yet, it is still a bit of a riddle where it keeps those merrows.]

[Enkidu isn't taking the potion anymore. They stopped doing that the second Gil appeared. Truly, everything became better the moment their friend returned. Waking up with him, showing him plants, drinking with him and all these adventures in between.

That, and they also realize that they don't want this to change anymore. Dwelling on the past, grieving all the time...it just won't do.

They want to live.]

Yes, he is. [Enkidu lifts the other side of the cabinet.] He arrived a couple of days ago... [They smile at Lio.] ...I was on my way to the Treehouse and he contacted me through the device. And I saw his face and heard his voice. It was quite unreal at first, some sort of distant dream...

[Carefully they start to shuffle forward.]

...But for now it is quite real... [Their smile broadens.] I would like it for you two to meet.

( his attention is mostly focused on not stumbling while carrying this piece of broken furniture, eyes staying forward while trusting his feet and his balance to not make them trip and fall. but it also lets him think about meeting gil, about how happy enkidu sounds... how happy it makes him to hear them heap compliments upon the god he's never met. )

He doesn't care that we're bonded?

( not that lio's bothered or anything! definitely not! nope, he's very okay with everything. but...

... he's a little worried. he doesn't want to get in the way. they sound like they were very happy with each other. )

[Enkidu focuses on carrying and walking, yet they are aware of what Lio feels. It is some sort of worry and a sharper feeling than that. They do gaze at him for a moment.]

Gil does care. [Even if he has given his permission they know that it is a Thing to him. And it would not surprise them if Gil would finally challenge Lio for a battle to test if he was worthy of being bonded to Enkidu, Gil's one and only friend.] And Gil might be unpleasant about it.

[Finally they put the cabinet down.]

Is that what worries you? I will keep him at bay and I will tell him to accept you as you are. [They smile.] If anything, every human is worthy of bonding with me.

No, I think... that if he does have a problem? We should settle it.

( which if it comes down to it, lio is willing to fight. as he also lets go of his end of the cabinet, he looks at enkidu with a gentle frown. )

If he can't accept me regardless of the outcome, I don't want to rely on solely you to validate me.

( he flaps his wings once, before that sloped look turns into something wider and sunnier. a happy expression on the face of the boy. )

Perhaps it will come to that. [Enkidu frowns briefly and when they open their mouth they speak softly. It's personal and despite all the peace they have made with dying, with mourning, it is still a somewhat difficult subject to talk about.] While my body gave in and my heart perished Gil stated that I am his one and only friend and no one would be worthy of that title. He has kept his promise. Fiercely.

[It is worrying but on the other side not worrying at all. Gil is extremely strong willed, but so is Lio.]

The only one who can validate you is you.

( that kind of bond... it surpasses the kind of bond here, doesn't it? that's what lio is coming to realize, something that he possibly couldn't compete for. but at the same time, he doesn't want to take something away from what gil and enkidu has. he wants to make his own and keep it safe, which he has. )

Yeah, you're right.

( after all, it doesn't change what they've done together. how lio has felt about enkidu. )

So. What does he look like? Describe him.

( so that if somehow lio spots him, he can prepare himself but not to run. )

[The bond between Gil and Enkidu is old, very old. And in many ways it defies time, it is a certainty that will always be.]

You worry a lot about relationships, not? About the way people deal with one another. Do you miss something like that? [That one thing...] A lover?

[Enkidu hums softly before they actually start to describe Gil.] Gil has light hair and red eyes. He is rather muscled and there are red marks on his body. [Then they chuckle.] You will know when you meet Gil.

( lio coughs. it feels like he's been smacked right in the stomach! )

Relationships? ( a beat, then: ) Lover?! As in, someone permanent, or...?

( this makes frown. he folds his arms across his body. he needs a subject change, and fast. )

Red marks, like tattoos? That's pretty identifiable, I guess. ( lio continues to keep his eyes away. ) I just... hm.

[enkidoh]

Someone who makes you feel whole. [They place a hand on their chest] The one who warms your heart.

[Lio is difficult to read sometimes but it is obvious that he is troubled. Does he feel alone? Misunderstood?]

Hmn...yes. [And now he is avoiding their gaze. They could ask him but in the end it is his choice to tell them or not. So that is what they say.]

It is your choice to speak up or not. I will not press the matter.

[Enkidu flashes him a small smile before they haul everything onto the cart and starts to push it through the snow.]

( someone that does that...? here, it's quite a few people. before? it was just one. as he helps enkidu, it takes him a few moments as they continue their little pushing adventure through the snow for him to come to a conclusion, which also comes with a huff. )

I think... I have a few friends that do that. But I don't know if it's a relationship like that. All together, they make me whole.

( and then he looks at enkidu, with the smallest and warmest smile that he can muster. )

Like you. You do that. It doesn't matter where your Gil is in that, I guess.

[enkidoh]

[His words are met with a long hum and finally they nod. Yes, that is possible. More people can make you feel complete. They can do that by offering kindness, they can do that by sharing a kiss or bring a present.

They get Lio's reasoning but there is also the fact that no one else but Gil can make them feel the way they do.

Perhaps that is the difference between humans made from flesh and bone and a lump of sentient divine clay.]

That is...kind.

[The idea of being able to make others feel that way is new and they have no idea how to respond to it. They know he is sincere, they can sense it and see it on his face.]

I think I am very...honored that you feel that way about me. That I am able to stir such things inside another... Someone who is not Gil.

[They're standing still now, green eyes slightly widened.]

I hope I will continue to be worthy of that.

( it's definitely a lot harder to push this cart than he originally expected, especially for a longer time. lio might be a little stronger as a harpy, but he'll never reach the same level of strength as he did as a burnish. his muscles ache, and he lets out a gentle sigh. )

You will. I'll always remember you for it.

( even if something happens, that's why his memories are really all lio has. )

Enkidu, will you train with me sometime? If I'm able to keep up with you, will I be able to defend myself from Gil if I have to?

[enkidoh]

[Enkidu beams at that reply, flashing Lio a bright smile. They recognize the importance of those words.

No, they aren't a declaration of love. It is more a declaration that belongs to good friends. That deepens their bond. It makes them happy.]

Ah... [It definitely isn't easy to push the cart, yet they continue to push and pull.] ...I am not much of a witch. But I can teach you some wrestling. I am not sure if you are able to beat Gil as you are now.

[piromare]

Even if I lose... I'm learning something.

( he can't rely on just his strength as a monster. no, lio knows there's skill that he has to overcome as well. and even if he can't ever win, he will still try. that's all he can do. )

I wouldn't mind learning wrestling from you. ( a beat, and his cheeks flash red. ) After all, it wouldn't be too far from other things.

( the idea of fooling around with enkidu afterward makes his heart feel light. )

it has been 80 years...

If you have enough willpower to do so, I think you will do fine battling Gil. He wants his opponents to give it their all. Their best.

[A pause.]

And I advise you do not bore him. He gets bored easily.

[Then they nod.]

Wrestling is very fun to do. [They do see how Lio's cheeks turn redder, yet they don't entirely catch why it is so.] And a great test of strength. [And then...ah. They get it.] We do not need to wrestle to do that, I am well aware of the urges humans have.
