Who: Trevor Belmont and Hector
When: early part of the month
Where: The Coven and wherever else
What: Bonding things
Warnings: Trevor being Trevor, swearing, possible blood drinking, nsfw shenanigans
[ The sun is coming to set when Trevor makes his way to The Coven and it's a little strange to find himself here again. He's only ever been here a grand total of three times and all for Bond purposes but... that's pretty much why anyone comes here, right? Unless you're a witch, he supposes, but. Who knows there. Does Alucard even do spell stuff?? He feels like he should know the answer to that but, then again, the blond still seems to have some hang ups on being the very thing his mother was accused of being and paid the ultimate price for at the hands of the fucking Church which is full of shit as far as he's concerned. So, he gets it. But it's also almost been a year since they've both found themselves here and so, you know, he just figures the blond would have moved on by now. But it's different for everyone.
And why is he even thinking of this in the first place??
Right. The Coven. For witches and Bonds and things.
He's set to meet Hector here and he knows the faun won't keep him waiting since he figures Hector probably has some THOUGHTS about the witches and all here himself; just look how long it took him to be willing to Bond after all. So, with cloak wrapped around him to look like a bad vampire bitch (or something...) he arrives with a short wave to the faun when he spots him and no, he didn't dress up for this or anything. This is Trevor Belmont ok? But at least he doesn't look like a damn mess?? There's that. For now. ]
Just so you know, I didn't prepare any sort of speech or anything for this because it's fucking weird no matter how many times I do it.

But here he is, headed to the Coven with Trevor. It's somehow worked out that he has two monsters to bond to, so at least he's gone through this once before. So he's not a complete nervous wreck.
That was a very different situation, though, and Everett handled all the planning for that first ceremony. Left to his own devices, Hector's feeling a little lost. He's worn one of his nicer outfits, and he has a package with him, which he drums his fingers on.
It's a bit of a relief, that Trevor is exactly as he always is. Hector lets out a breath.]
I didn't either. I'm not one for writing vows or whatever the bond-equivalent is.
[He looks down at the package, then back to the vampire.]
Got you something. Some bonded do gifts, and I wasn't sure.... It's no silver axe, but I think you'll be able to use it.
[Despite the temptation to get something from the Worse Dragon store, the package contains a new belt, with plenty of little loops and clips for attaching various weaponry.]

The surprise and confusion is written all over his face as he rubs a hand along the nape of his neck and he tilts his head to the side, blue eyes averting their gaze slightly. ]
Oh... thanks. I... didn't bring you anything? [ Jesus Christ. ] I didn't know I was supposed to.
no subject
It's fine. I owe you for that axe you gave me. And I thought this would suit you.
[God, he feels like he's fucking this up already. He reaches for where he thinks Trevor's elbow will be under his cape so he can pull Trevor along into the coven building. Physically moving away from more potentially awkward situations.]
Come on. No sense waiting around.
no subject
[ Hector has other plans apparently as he's being pulled along towards the entrance of The Coven Bonding Building or whatever and he just... kinda stumbles along after him. So graceful that Trevor Belmont.
Stepping inside, he straightens up the best he can and takes a moment to gather himself as he takes a look around the place. Same as before, still... weird, kind of. Maybe because it's a little too similar to how a Church is. Or that's just what he thinks. Either way, he never seems to burst into flames entering these places, so. There's that. ]
Did you want to do something after this is all said and done?
no subject
Sorry. You can open it if you want.
[He's... unexpectedly nervous. Like he's going to finally fuck this up enough and Trevor will change his mind about the bond.]
We can go out for a drink after. Alcohol, not... me. That's what people do to celebrate, right?
[Hector's been to very few parties, and most of them have been here, as a faun.]
no subject
Sure. We'll get a drink after.
[ Setting the gift back in the box, he moves past Hector to head inside but comes to brush the tips of his fingers across the faun's neck with a murmured thank you close to his temple as he goes. Small things and gestures from Trevor Belmont. ]
no subject
Fuck, Trevor’s going to pick up on feelings with the bond, isn’t he? Worse than with the blood. Which is the thing that he’s warned Hector about repeatedly.
Well, that’s going to happen. Trevor’s going to feel that he has... feelings. It can’t come as much of a shock, but still.
Fuck, maybe it should’ve been drinks before, not after.
He follows Trevor inside, heart still going at a crazy beat. At least he knows where to go.]
I’ll let the witches know we’re here so we can get started.
no subject
But this time is a little different as well as he's doing this after having a lost a Bond himself and he just... part of him isn't sure he wants to deal with that again? Especially when it's someone he cares about... which he guesses Hector is now and he... has no idea how that happened. Then again, he has no idea how any of his feelings ever happened, so. Yeah.
So he lingers there for a little longer before just making his way on in to get on with the ceremony, even though he's sure there's going to be A LOOK with it being two monsters and not a witch and a monster; he'd gotten that the last time when he and Berserker bonded after all. ]
no subject
But in spite of that, he does want this. He gets the required witches to assemble, and gestures for Trevor to join them.
There's a moment for an exchange of words before the ceremonial spell begins. Where vows would go, if you were inclined to such. Hector doesn't think his and Trevor's bond is the vow-making type. He's not sure what exactly to say to fill the silence, and he stands stiffly, trying not to nervously clomp his hooves on the tile floor.]
Umm, so... thank you for agreeing to this. I hope you'll find this bond mutually beneficial. I'm, uh, glad that I'm here. With you.
[He's treading on the side of 'vague', because he could say something about feelings or devotions, but he's not sure if Trevor wants that.]
no subject
Standing there, he doesn't pay much mind to the witches that are there and listens to what Hector offers him in terms of their Bondly Speech. It's about as awkward as he expected and he knows he's not going to be any better at this. But, he does want to try and not leave Hector hanging here with doing all the... expressing himself sort of thing. In a way. Kind of. ]
I'm... not a witch and so I can't completely offer you that sort of magical balance or whatever it is we need as monsters.
[ Just putting that out there, even if they both know it. ]
But you're someone who I'll do my best to keep out of trouble and just... be there for you. Whenever you need me. For whatever reason. I'm yours to protect you however I can.
no subject
Someone to be there. Someone to protect him. That's... that's all Hector's ever really wanted from another person. What had seemed so impossible, back on Earth.
There's no way Trevor's not going to feel how shaken he is, once the spell is complete.
He swallows, trying to find his voice.]
...don't want a witch. I want you. So whatever it takes to keep you you, I'll do without hesitation.
no subject
Then you have me. Forever how long.
no subject
When it does, Trevor will be privy to Hector's feelings, which are currently doing a frenzy of sidesteps to keep from tripping over the 'L' word. Fucking Trevor Belmont, making him feel so safe and secure, what a bastard.]
no subject
But when the spell takes hold of them and their... lives?? Souls?? Essence?? come to be bound to each other, Trevor blinks those blue eyes of his as he takes in that familiar sort of sensation of the Bond taking hold and just... glances away then. Yeah, he... definitely feels something from Hector and Hector himself might feel the dull ache that lingers within his heart at having lose someone he cares for. Not a fun thing but, he did warn him. ]
Well... that was fun.
[ A glance to the witches then, he gives a tug on Hector's hand. ]
We'll just be going then.
no subject
Right. Drinks. My treat.
[He's curious if alcohol will numb it, the way people suggest it does. He has a feeling the hole Sypha left is too deep for beer to fill.]
You'll have to steer us to a bar you haven't been banned from yet, Belmont.
no subject
Regardless of the reason, he makes his way through the streets with the faun, cloak gently curling around him every now and then when a breeze drifts by. ]
This isn't Wallachia.
[ GEEZ. ]
Sometimes I don't know if I prefer that or not. I think when I first came here I didn't. But now... I don't know. I'll have been here for a year in a few weeks.
no subject
Oooh Mr Belmont ooh, hand-holding in public!Hector keeps close to Trevor's side, where the fluttering folds of his cloak can shield this little display of affection. Hector is still unused to such gestures, and his instinct is to hide it to protect it. Despite the pain in the bond, Hector is pleased to have Trevor's hand in his.]
I know what I prefer.
[He's made that clear enough. But Trevor is different. He has obligations in Wallachia. A Speaker Witch he loves, who is presumably there again, and an asshole dhampir still here. Plus the other bond, that mysterious dragon, as an unknown factor. And now Hector. He hopes he is part of the equation.]
Since you're here now, you might as well enjoy all that you can. There's no disloyalty in that.
[And if the opportunity ever arises where they can choose whether to stay or go... well, they will have to cross that bridge when they get there. Hector's grip on Trevor's hand tightens.]
no subject
[ Though, truthfully, he's gotten BETTER at dealing with and accepting that. He still has his moments of not entirely being pleased with it and the fact that he never really gets to see sunlight anymore sort of... sucks. Vampire pun NOT intended. But with the cooler months of fall and winter gently creeping in, it means he'll be able to be out more what with the sun setting much earlier than it does during the long summer months.
So, at least Hector will be able to see him more soon. ]
I know we're supposed to go get drinks and whatever but... did you want to go somewhere else instead?
no subject
Is it really so bad? You don’t have to live in hiding here. You aren’t hurting anyone... and the drinking is pleasant, isn’t it?
[Hector’s always enjoyed giving blood, and Trevor’s never complained about receiving it. He hopes it’s not so terrible for Trevor, being undead.]
We can go anywhere you want. Have something in mind, or just don’t feel like drinking?
no subject
It's only after a moment that he let his the kiss break, lips still lingering close against Hector's while fingers lessen their tight hold on those arms. ]
I... just wanted to. Kiss you.
no subject
Mmmm. Alright. Come home with me?
[He'll never say no to finding somewhere private to kiss Trevor. Hector will take him out
for a dateto celebrate some other time.]no subject
[ Just... going to put that out there and all and Hector might feel a gentle blip of hesitation in Trevor asking. ]
It's just that, with Bonded- or at least with Ciaran, it's... deeper when I do. I'm not sure how to explain it. Possibly seeing memories aside, that is. It just tastes different somehow.
[ As if it's the sweetest blood he's ever had. ]
no subject
Now I'm curious. I wonder if it'll feel different for me, too.
[Part horny faun, part mad scientist. He tugs on Trevor's hand]
Come on. I promised you a drink, and I can't start breaking vows to my bonded on night one.
no subject
I imagine you might feel whatever it is I feel maybe. From drinking your blood. Maybe.
[ Berserker's never seemed to really mention anything about that... but then again, they both usually end up screwing whenever blood drinking happens, so. Who knows. ]
no subject
That's fascinating.
[It's a nice enough night, Hector's tempted to find some secluded garden and try it here and now. But no, it's their bonding night, he should probably offer Trevor a bed and at least pretend he's not an absolute heathen. He is going to walk faster, though.]
