Who: Soundwave and Saber
When: Beginning of Septeril
Where: Saber's residence
What: Talking, exchanging backstories
Warnings: Likely war discussion will come up. A crime against cuisine
[With their schedule clear, it was time to make true of the promise they made back during Lunasa celebration last month, both offered to share their long stories when they have the time. A bit of a bonding exercise, and it was an opportunity to learn more about the blond girl. It's early in the afternoon, they'll have plenty of time to discuss their stories. Given that he could still transform into his alt-mode, an armored vehicle of sort, it won't be long for him to reach Saber's place of residence after a small exchange over their watches.
The roar of an engine is alien for the locals but it was sure to perk anyone's attention, as he rolls over to his destination. It's fairly likely that Saber might be able to hear it too, the rumbling sound of an engine, getting closer and closer outside until it dies down. He'll leave himself parked outside the house, materialized his avatar instead as to better able to enjoy the drinks Saber will provide.
After making sure he's got the right house, he knocks upon the door and waits for her patiently, sending a message to Saber beforehand that he's arriving soon.]

[If he has access to Earth's Wikipedia he would've been able to figure out the exact date. But he's not on Earth, even if he somehow manages to connect to a galactic internet.]
Oh? What makes you say that? [Judging solely by the name, he would imagine it was a truly terrible age in human history.]
no subject
[ She's a bit biased, of course. ]
no subject
[It doesn't escape him that she could be biased, though.]
no subject
[ She might be biased, yes. ]
no subject
[That was the case for some of his world's legends.]
Is it done yet? [He nudges his head to the egg.]
no subject
[ She hastily transfers the omelette to a plate and passes it to him, along with a fork. ]
no subject
It's... hot.
[Said with his mouth full. Never put food that was right off the pan into the mouth. Lesson learned. Still, he tries to bite, savor a bit, and then swallow.]
Hm. It's an entirely new texture and flavor I'm sensing.
no subject
[ She seems slightly amused by that. ]
I think the flavors are what amazed me most when I found myself in a new era. As I said my other meals were far more bland... and now I find that I enjoy food much more than I did before.
no subject
[He's not mad, but if his hands weren't occupied, he would've lightly punched her shoulder for that amused look on her. Fortunately the avatar's tongue wasn't burnt.]
I can see why. The flavors are very strong, yes. It feels like an... explosion of flavors when I chew.
no subject
I'll try to keep that in mind for the next time.
[ She seems pleased that he enjoys it, though. ]
I'm glad it's turned out. I'm not the most skilled cook, after all.
no subject
[It's not as gross as he imagined it to be, honestly. He goes for another bite, waiting a bit for it to cool off a little.]
Once I get used to the texture, it becomes much more... enjoyable. I think.
no subject
[ So many new things. ]
no subject
I see. I'm more used to... drinking liquid, Energon is typically consumed in the liquid state, so this is entirely new to me.
[He's quarter into the dish before he offers it to Saber.]
Want some, too?
no subject
[ Saber looks a touch awkward, but hey. She managed to make food for someone! ]
I can't quite imagine subsisting entirely off of liquid.
no subject
Are you sure? I still don't entirely benefit from eating this fully.
[Sure, he experienced the taste and all, but he's unable to be full. If she still declines it, he'll try to finish it up himself.]
Humans can't just live off from drinking liquid? It's normal for my kind. Though, Energon is not always prepared in a liquid state. Energon goodies for example are a crunchy snacks.
no subject
[ Now she's thinking about it. ]
no subject
I wonder if this would still taste good if it's converted to liquid. Perhaps... turning it into a smoothie?
[Are there ice and a blender around here?]
no subject
[ She's not sure if they can do that, but, uh.
Might as well try? ]
no subject
[This is a horrendous idea they're about to do, and Soundwave doesn't realize that.]
no subject
[ This will end poorly, but she's still looking for the processor. ]

no subject
I suppose we're ready to make the attempt.
no subject
[After giving Saber a single nod, he proceeds to dumps the omelette into the appliance first. Then, it's the ice next... Which Soundwave glanced at her for the go ahead.]
no subject
This is an atrocity against cuisine. ]
no subject
The end product looks to be... something. A blend of gross-looking yellow and green. He's reserving his judgement, though. It tasted good before, so why wouldn't it be now, right?]
Ah. We should have glasses for this. [So, he'll go and grab two glasses and sets them on the counter.].
