It is the first thing that comes from Enkidu's mouth when Waver has stops speaking.
"But I am willing to answer your questions. My name is Enkidu, I am a weapon made by very ancient gods and the name of my Master is Fujimaru Ritsuka. I have been summoned to Chaldea." Slowly they put their belongings down again when he mentions that he agrees to a drink. "I belong to the Lancer class. If you call me Lancer I do not mind but I prefer my true name."

"I'll call you by your name if that's what you want. Most Servants don't go by their class name here. But explain the whole thing about being... a weapon?"
Is that why Enkidu has no apparent manners??
Waver gestures for the door.
"We can go to the Seadog. It's rarely busy this early."

Enkidu moves to walk around the table so they can join Waver.
"It is quite a long story but I will try to keep it short. A long time ago old gods created me to bring a rebellious king back to the heavens, since he had turned away from them. My only purpose was to battle him and make sure that it is done. Yet, I gained knowledge, a form, a heart...and someone called me their friend. I found myself disagreeing with the gods so I chose to walk with humanity and be their weapon instead."
They sigh softly before they nod.
"The Seadog is fine."

Because he knows there are those from others here as well. By now, they're likely all well-enough aware of the strangeness of overlapping and diverging times, places and memories, especially when it comes to Heroic Spirits, whose very natures are unmoored from human reality in the Throne of Heroes.
But Waver shakes his head.
"I'm not anyone's Master, though. That's not a title I deserve. Call him my Bonded if you need to call our relationship to one another anything. That'll be fine."
As they make their way the short distance to the tavern just down the street, practically next door, Waver listens while Enkidu explains. If it was a long story, Enkidu does a decent job of abridging it for ease of general understanding, and it's over by the time they find a seat.
"And what does being a weapon for humanity entail?"

Yet, it is odd to hear him say that he doesn't deserve the title of Master. When you summon a servant and contract them you become a Master, whether you like it or not.
The inn is familiar territory to them and they sink down into a chair in a rather relaxed way, placing their bag between their legs.
"Basically it means that I am a bit broken. A weapon obeys its wielder, yet I decided not to do so. Gods aren't very forgiving." Yet, they don't regret it. "Hmm...and why don't you deserve to be a Master?"
no subject
He doesn't want to go into the personal detail of his crisis of realization as to how tiny and insignificant he really is, how weak and foolish he'd been. There's no point in dwelling on all that, especially with a stranger.
He'd rather focus on the outcome. There's no reason not to share that. Considering the context Enkidu is coming from and what they're describing of their past, it will make more sense to them.
"Instead of being Iskandar's Master, I swore myself to him as a vassal to a King."

"Then it is not a matter of deserving or not. It is a matter of wanting. Hmm...there is a difference in that, you know?"
Enkidu shifts a little in their chair and looks around themselves for a moment.
"Have you ever met my Master? They're considered not much of a mage, yet they are the only one left who is able to save humanity. I think that is a good use for a weapon like me. After all, I have chosen to walk besides humanity and be its tool."
