[ Saori's fox ears pricked up when she heard someone calling her name. She could be found in the library where she put down her book to check on him. ]

Hmm, Yoosung? Just a minute!

[ Honestly, the whine reminded her of her kids would come to her when they played a little too rough. She can't dwell too much on how adorable her housemate sounds though when he's clearly in pain. ]

Toothache, huh? I think we need to check our first aid kit but let's have a look first. Say, "ahh".

Huh? [She wants to look at his mouth? Why...

But he's in too much pain to argue, so.]

Aaah.

[Well, for now it's not too bad. Although his gums are sort of protruding at the sides of his mouth... protruding more... oh god what is happening. Now Yoosung's eyes are flinching a bit, but he holds his tongue.]

[Saori takes a look. While she's no dentist, she had an idea of what was happening. She nods and pulls away. ]

Okay, you can close them now. It might be your changes kicking in as in just starting. No wonder you're in pain. I think we might have something for that in the kitchen.

[Once they are in the kitchen, she pulls out a box from one of the cupboards. She goes through it and takes out a large bottle.]

I knew it. We still have some pain killing potion. Looks like we'll need to restock later. Don't worry, you just need a spoonful.

[He closes his mouth but once he listens, he can't help but bring his hand up to it in surprise.]

Ah, already?! [...No, wait. Mikasa said she'd had her changes already started as soon as she'd arrived. So if he thinks of it that way, he's actually a late bloomer. That's typical of him, really. Once in the kitchen, he stares at the bottle and then reaches his hand out for it gingerly. His thoughts are already beyond medicine by this point, even though he'll certainly take it for the pain.]

So that means something's gonna happen to my teeth, huh... ah, gh...

[Sharp pains are piercing his mouth in two areas, a grimace appearing on his face. He needs to just get to the spoon drawer already, enough talking about it. For a moment he turns his back to Saori to do just that.]

Yeah, the teeth changing was a pain for me too.

[Sure, she was ready for her teeth to get sharp when that happened to her, but now some of them even poke out even when her mouth is closed.

At seeing Yoosung grimace, she grabbed some ice and wrapped it in a towel just to be safe. Even if it was potion, it still would take a little time to kick in. At least the drawer is in front on him. ]

Teaspoon is in that drawer on the left side. I got some ice too.

[Admittedly, the pokiness of her teeth may well have been the other reason he assumed she'd know what to do about dental issues.]

[He hurriedly takes out the teaspoon and opens the bottle. Although he hesitates for a moment, taking a little sniff. He didn't really think about it since the practice is so similar to taking earthly medicine, but this is his first time trying a potion, after all.]

Wah, what a weird smell, what do they even put in this stuff?

[But the pangs in his mouth are enough that he's pouring himself some soon enough and taking a drink. After that, he has a seat in front of the table and holds his hand out for the ice. Groaning all the while it takes for it to finally feel better, he has little tears in his eyes.]

Uh...Tons of medicinal herbs and other things? I could guess some of the things, but I'm not sure if I want to know the rest.

[Saori hands him the towel-wrapped ice and sits next to him.]

Here. Give it a few minutes and you won't be in so much pain. Ah, I guess that means soup or something soft for dinner tonight. A shame I don't have all ingredients for something like samgyetang.

[Yoosung's eyebrows raise a little at the mention of a familiar food, but this isn't really the time to make conversation about where she learned to cook, so he just nods a bit while he pushes the ice to his face.

Just as the pain begins to subside into an anesthetized feeling, there's a faint itch as the roots of his human teeth are shoved out, and with a slight panic, he opens his mouth to let it them fall crookedly into the towel. The baby tips of his fangs are already sticking out, leaving no visible holes. His mouth is still open a la surprised pikachu. He whispers.]

...Should I sell this to a fae?? [it's really hard to tell if he's joking or not. Does the pain potion come with david after dentist side effects]

[Saori looked at the fallen teeth and then at Yoosung. She blinked before finally speaking because wow things just escalated.]

M-maybe? I think that's the least of your worries though. Fangs don't really narrow down which monster you're becoming, but it's a start.
