[The fae wasn't sure what to do here. Was he leaving? Oh no, he was just turning. What was she doing? She had to think about it. Chin dipping into the water as she looks away.]

...Flying? [Not that she sounded 100% sure there. But to make her point, that droning noise starts again along with splashing. Her wings vibrating against the air to shove her up and out the water.

It's only by a foot before she just flops back into the water. An attempt was made.]

[Now neither of them are looking at each other. But he can still hear that buzz of wings pretty loudly.]

[It takes her another moment as she makes it too shallow enough water to stand instead of swimming. Giving a small shake like a wet dog, wings flicking water around.

Well, now looking at him wasn't really an issue. Because her hair was partially plastered across her face.]

[Her options were kind of limited here. Dive underwater and leave her belongings behind or...Be seen. And there was some conflicting thoughts at being seen. Because she was supposed to be hidden, out of sight. But at the same time, something about his response was funny...Funny enough to be worth it.

Though the comment gets a snort. Another buzz of the wings to flick water off.]

[He understands why she wants to keep her shirt dry, he guesses! He can just cover his face!!]

[Normally he would wonder if a lady asking him to guess this was a trap waiting to be sprung, but he's grateful for the ability to stay way off the topic of what he saw.]

[She's definitely somewhere around his age. He's lowballing it because she is shorter than him and got that awkward teen vibe, but at the same time he's sure she's considered an adult!!]

We're the same age... [It's slow and completely lacking anything. Her brain too busy trying to work out. Because technically the number wasn't that far off. But...She'd felt so much older than the new cadets that they'd get. And 18 wasn't far off of 15 either...
