Who: Fie, Shinjiro, Louis, and/or Minato (Animal House) When: July Where: The Animal House (or whatever) What: ... things Warnings: N/A (will update as needed)
[Minato was hungry. And, as far as he was aware, Shiniro wasn't home. Not that he really depended on others to feed him. Either he bought food to take home, ate at the restaurant, or made something himself. Considering he was only about a week into this place, he hardly had the cash for the first two options. So, making something himself is it.
After checking the cupboards and pantries for what was available, Minato decided on something that wouldn't be too complicated (and a bit of home). Omurice it is. He would also make more than one if anyone else came in and asked.
Koromaru waited patiently to the side and Minato gave the dog a pat.]
You want a plate too? Probably better if I just mix it all up instead, hm?
[He got an affirmative bark that earned a small smile from Minato.]
[The abrupt shut down and emotional withdrawal from him, present through their shared bond, is something Fie hasn't experienced from him in a long time. Not since... well, she can't actually remember. Six months at least. It's not hard to figure out, not really. New people arrived, and they could be anyone from anytime or place. So, someone connected to him and his past somehow. Nothing else gets that reaction so fast.
What gets her the most, though, is his complete lack of reply to her "inquiry" about him. Concern wasn't the main focus. More like curiosity at what's going on. That shifts once there's no distinct answer either in the form of a normal feeling back or, more likely, a sense telling her to butt out. It's basically radio silence.
So the turnskin finishes up her current task, excuses herself, and follows their bond to find where he is. By the time she reaches him, he's walking down a street somehow looking more closed off than usual. Fie follows him for a little bit, casually making her way along the roof tops, and well aware their bond betrays her presence to him as well. A few minutes and still no acknowledgment later, she hops off the buildings and joins him at his side. She holds out a small container of shaved ice.]

Take this, it'll melt soon.
[It could be called an icebreaker.]
