( Sometime during early June, Aqua can be seen entering the household - carrying a deer on her shoulders. She has every intention of preparing it for dinner. With all the dragon transformations she had gone through - maybe it was just a matter of time before she started to give into her new cravings as well. Either way, it doesn't seem like she's having any trouble carrying it inside.

From what one can tell - it was a fully grown, male deer. At the least, Aqua had hunted it down quickly. Her ice magic made doing that much easy. )

b.

( Throughout the month, Aqua will be outside, practicing both her flight and ice magic. She takes off easily in the air, making her way rather high into the sky before sending shards of ice down.

If she has to give up her powers here, she can at least master her new ones. )

c.

( If she isn't training, Aqua is reading through various magic books, trying to find new spells for Kairi or Riku to master. Considering that they both want to help Sora with the color of his eyes, she's focusing on trying to find a spell specifically for that. )

<sub>[He's been hanging around the house more and more, each time with a different excuse. Two weeks ago it had been 'my roommate is shedding hardcore', one week ago it was 'remodeling', and today? That's one he hasn't quite thought of yet but he's working on it as he plucks out parts of a song on a borrowed guitar, all sprawled out on the couch and humming along with it.

Before the door opens, he looks up at it. The smell is the first thing that jumps out at him - it's unmistakeable with his senses cranked up to eleven as they are now, but why--? He has his answer as Aqua enters, and try as he might Demyx can't hide the way his gills flare in mild interest.]</sub>

Huh? Where'd you get that?

( The deer itself doesn't look hurt initially, but it's really only because Aqua had used her ice powers to freeze her prey before making her move. )

It's strange. I was flying, and before I realized it... I had hunted it down.

[synchroswim]

_{[He takes another whiff, and damn it all he's setting the guitar down on the couch next to him to get a better look at it. Listen. Listen. He's never actually seen one of these things up close and personal.]}

Seriously? Dude, that's...

_{[Rapping his knuckles against the antlers, the fins on his ears mimic his gills and flare.]}

S'pretty cool, not gonna lie.

_{[What part? All of it.]}

I'm not so sure.

( Aqua's answer is said quietly, her gaze becoming distant for a moment. )

Not being able to control yourself... it's a strange feeling.

[synchroswim]

_{[The look makes the fins droop, but it's not too noticeable. That... Whoof.]}

So was it like... instinct? Do you remember anything?

_{[Does. Does he have to be worried?]}

A little. It was like my body moved on its own once I had seen the deer.

( She stops for a moment, watching him before quickly shaking his head. )

It may happen to all of us that's changed, but... I've never heard of monsters hurting other people like this.

[Riku is stretched out on the couch nearby flipping through a magic book of his own. They've had a lot of false starts and failures in finding a spell to help Sora and he's beginning to feel like they'll never find the answer. Or that maybe the answer can't be found in any of the books of Aefenglom.

He finally tosses the book to the side with a groan and a distinct thump of the hard cover hitting the floor.]

Nothing in that one either. Please tell me you're having better luck.

[lightblooming]

( Aqua shakes her head, marking her place in the book she was looking through and closing it. )

No. We may need to think outside of the box for something like this.

What if there's nothing we can do?

[It's a thought he's been contemplating for awhile, but he hasn't wanted to voice it in front of Sora and Kairi. But with Aqua he feels like he can share his concern.]

Wouldn't we have found something by now if it was possible?

I've seen spells that are much more advanced. ( Still, she can understand Riku's feelings. ) We haven't looked through everything. Don't give up yet.

Yeah, so have I. But what if we're not supposed to mess with the transformation? What if we just make it worse? Kairi and I found a couple of spells we think could work but...the possible side effects are too risky. Especially at our level of knowledge.

[He runs a frustrated hand through his hair.]

That may be something to ask the Coven. If it's forbidden, we can't look any further into it. We don't want to risk putting anyone in danger.

( That may not be the answer Riku wants to hear, but it needs to be said. )

[ven is immediately drawn to the scent of blood and meat even before aqua comes inside with the deer. driven by instinct he runs down the stairs two at a time only to skid across the floor at the bottom to reach aqua with ears perky and tail wagging.]

What's that? Is it dinner? It's huge, Aqua!

[lightblooming]

( Ven looks so happy... Aqua can't help but wonder if it's because she's home, or if it's because of the food. )

Yes, but... did you want some, too?

( Everyone has such different appetites at this point in time. Aqua still feels like she's relearning what everyone likes. )

[maybe it's both! but it could be because he's hungry and because he loves aqua.

at the offer he immediately brightens, tail wagging ferociously.]

Yes please!

[lightblooming]

( Aqua's wings flutter a bit at that. It's nice to see Ven so happy, but she's admittedly a little surprised. He's never had such a strong reaction to food like this, that well... weren't her cakes. )

I had no idea you'd be so hungry by now. I'm going to cook it first. Can you hold out until then?

[he immediately slumps against the staircase banister with a dramatic sounding sigh.]

That's gonna take forever...

[lightblooming]

( Aqua reaches to gently ruffle his hair. )

It's important to have patience, Ven.

[Kor happened to be in the area, passing on through, minding his own business, when he happens to catch some of Aqua's shards flying around out of the corner of his eye. Instinctively he reacts, jumping back as if to try to dodge.]

Whoa! --...Huh?

[Turns out the shards weren't anywhere close to him, the light refracting off of the shards playing tricks on his eyes. But it sure got his attention, as he's looking around for his would-be assailant.]

[lightblooming]

( The moment that Aqua sees Kor dodge is the moment she begins to make her way downwards - wings flapping quickly in order to reach him as fast as she can.

She lands on her feet easily, but there's a troubled look on her face. She hadn't meant to startle him so much. )

Are you alright?

[spirialink]

Yeah... [Kor heaves a sigh of relief, glad he wasn't skewered by shards of ice]

You just caught me off-guard there, that's all.

[lightblooming]

I didn't think we'd have guests today. ( She admits, wings folding neatly against her back. )

Are you here to see Sora?

[spirialink]

No, actually.

[He's not surprised she'd come to that conclusion, though, what with how close he and Sora were and how often he did stop by to hang out with him. When Sora didn't go looking for him first, that is.]

I like passing by this place when I go for a walk. It's a real pretty house with nice vibes coming out of it, so seeing it always makes my Spiria feel warm.

[Plus he likes some of the people who live there, so that's like a bonus to the vibe check.]

Umm... What were you doing, by the way?

[Kairi's not doing all that much today. Just kind of lounging about the house, reading her books, practicing a new spell or two.

She's checking the calendar, looking through what's going on this week, when something catches her eyes. It's not an event written down or anything like that, no, it's the date itself. There's something significant about-

Wait a minute.

Kairi glances back up to last week. No way. Absolutely not, she couldn't possibly have forgotten-

But yep, there it is. Her own birthday. Was last week. And she completely forgot.

She slams her forehead against the wall.]
