[Closed] It was easier playing with tin soldiers

Who: Symon and Keith
When: Beginning of the month
Where: Beyond the wall
What: Tracking down a suit of armor. Too bad it tends to fight back.
Warnings: None for now, fighting eventually.

The quest...well it didn't seem simple, but it was interesting and that was worth something. Lyr had said something airy about being busy, and besides, it really it wasn't his forte. But no matter, Symon had the perfect man in mind. Keith had accepted the offer with alacrity, not surprising Symon in the least and they made plans to meet at the city gates.

Symon waited there now, astride Jasper, scanning the crowd, turning his mount with a fine-tuned control.

Honestly, it wasn't even like it was Keith's first time facing off against an autonomous tin can- well, sort of. Did robeasts count? He was saying robeasts counted. Sometimes they were definitely more ro than beast. So when Symon had asked Keith if he had wanted to take on the challenge of getting the thing back to its master, well, Keith wasn't exactly about to say no now was he?

He had brought Kosmo along, knowing that the wolf could handle himself well enough if things got too dangerous, walking up to the gates with his sword strapped over his back, his Blade of Marmora in its familiar place along his hip. It wasn't hard to spot the other sitting astride his horse as he was, and Keith couldn't help but chuckle, just a little. Quite the picture they were going to make; Keith in his white and red Paladin armour and Symon looking ready for a joust on his horse.

"Hey. Room for two up there? I'm afraid I left my loyal steed in another universe," he was obviously kidding, shaking his head a little as Kosmo looked up at him with a huff, ears pinning back as if to say 'don't you dare try and sit on me', leading Keith to rub fondly between the wolf's ears. "Moments like this make me miss my hovercycle." Not to mention his Lion.

With a flick of his fingers to keep Kosmo back, Keith stepped forward to offer his hand out to the horse in question. "Hey girl," he crooned softly, before guiding his hand along her muzzle, smile soft and warm as he rubbed the soft fur of her cheek, "Should've brought you a sugar cube huh?"

His attention returned to Symon though, and he let out a low chuckle at the question.

"Yeah, a personal vehicle- kind of like a motorcycle, but way faster, floating, and way cooler." He had his doubts that Symon would even know what a motorcycle was, but that could be remedied, too. "A hovercycle doesn't fly, it just uses thrust to stay above the ground, adjusting the wings' angle drives you forward. Shiro and I used to race them through the desert... I'd like to build one here, if I can find the parts," he admitted with a smile.
