Iuneril Catchall
Who: Akira Kurusu and OTA
When: First half of Iuneril
Where: Aefenglom: large farm, outside some brothels, his own home, cafés (esp. Purramid, where he works), Just Around; North of Aefenglom: Silent Forest; Near Outer City: The Forge (where he works)
What: uncomfortable return to existence (vamp death/return) on the 2nd, making candles for that festival throughout month, picking berries and telling the truth during first half of month, delivering fabric to Brothels towards end of month, working three fucking jobs now (because he's just Like This, smh) throughout month, protecting Witches in Silent Forest during latter half of month, trying to just forget that his friends came and went Just Like That always, somebody please make him rest...
Warnings: obligatory/temporary vampire-related death and all the depressing/dark matter that could be expected with that... and some violence that would be expected post-death for a vampire
OTA;
[ Those who are out picking berries in the first half of the month might catch him out there, as well. Are they someone Akira's on even remotely friendly terms with? Well, congrats to them! They'll have one (1) very snuggly vampire; while the amount of snuggly depends on just how friendly they are by now, any amount of positive air between them means at least one hug.
... He might not warn for it if he has any room to assume they wouldn't punch him or react badly, but he at least won't suddenly do it from behind.
Towards the latter half of the month, perhaps they spot him hurriedly delivering fabric to various Brothels. He will give a wave and a greeting but otherwise won't be stopping, unless they seem to need him to?
If one of the above isn't ideal for catching him, it might be impossible to not see him at least once throughout the entirety of the first half of the month. He's kind of everywhere, though namely hanging out in a café or at one of the three jobs (including the temporary candle-making one). ]

Customized/Closed Prompts
Closed to Akechi; warnings listed way above
Sure, he's still bitter over the very idea of being trapped in this situation, but dwelling in negative feelings isn't productive. Sinking into some dark place, mentally, won't undo any of the changes. So, by the end of Maiuril, he'd entered a state of very basic acceptance and had been using feelings of spite and bitterness to keep himself going. . .
. . . all the way until he found himself very literally, very physically unable to. Fortunately, the person near him happened to be within reach. Not that Akira had been the one reaching out, or anything. But at least Akechi didn't have to go far after dizziness suddenly had sent Akira to the floor.
Also fortunate is that this happens to be the person he's agreed to keep him confined during the period of his, ah... return. He'd be lying if he was to say he hasn't started to build some actual trust towards Akechi in this place - if as nothing else, a person who wouldn't let him hurt someone in this place after literally rising from the dead.
Anyway, it's pretty strange, feeling himself fading so far and so fast. He doesn't even remember anything past the point of unconsciousness, beyond bits and pieces that make up the way to the apartment. As weird as he would have found it just months ago, knowing Akechi was nearby to haul him away helps him not outright panic. Dying is far from comfortable - it definitely isn't something he will ever find himself reflecting on later. 0/10, would not repeat, et cetera.
And it's nowhere near as awful as what waking back up winds up feeling like. The lack of necessity for breathing, the too-stillness of his chest would probably be awful all on its own. But those aren't even noticed, at first, over the intense burning need to feed that has him close to screaming. It's nothing compared to what he's felt on a Full Moon and it has him blindly clawing at the bed, and then mindlessly, desperately moving to escape. ]

Akechi's more accepting of the situation, though even he knows that's only because he's not the one that's going to die. He doesn't go nearly so far as to tell Akira to calm down or get over it (he knows he wouldn't, if their situations were reversed) but instead remains a steady island of neutral dispassion. He'd call it calm, but in many ways he simply feels disconnected. Life in Aefenglom hasn't exactly been a emotional roller coaster for him, but even this feels unusually placid. He's not sure if he's anxious or sad or smug or petty or curious, and he has no idea how to start figuring that out. So he pushes his own emotions aside and resolves to deal with them later.
Akechi makes a point of staying... not close, per se, but never too far away as Akira's condition gets worse and worse. Still, it's fortunate that he's as close as he is when Akira collapses for what he suspects is the last time. His home isn't far, fortunately, even if dragging someone that's literally half dead through the residential district is pretty weird. He gets Akira into his room and settled on the bed, draws a up chair, retrieves a book, and settles in to wait. The ensuing silence is broken only by the sound of turning pages and the occasional verbal check on Akira's condition.
There's a waver in their Bond after a while, barely there but distinctly wrong. Akechi slides his gaze away from his book and over to Akira. He's in such bad condition it's hard to tell at a glance if anything has changed. ]
Kurusu-kun?
[ No response. ]
... Akira?
[ When there's no response to that either, Akechi knows he's passed. He makes a point of confirming via his pulse and breathing, though the act sends a sudden rush of grim amusement surging through him. If only he'd checked Akira's corpse this thoroughly the last time he 'killed' him.
Once Akechi is sure Akira's dead, he heads out. Akira won't rise again until nightfall, and that's several hours from now. Plenty of time for him to get ready. The first thing he does is retrieve the vials of blood that have been steadily taking over a shelf in his icebox. He hadn't been able to gather nearly as much as he would have liked, but he's reasonably certain this amount is enough to take the edge off and keep Akira from killing the first person he drinks from. Which will be Akechi, if Akechi has anything to say about it; the prepacked bag he retrieves from his bedroom contains the materials he needs for that.
The actual preparation once he's back in Akira's room is time consuming and tiring, but fairly simple. He draws the correct seals on Akira's doors and windows to keep him from easily breaking them, puts the blood back on ice so it stays in liquid form, changes into clothes he's not worried about ruining, and sets a bag of marbles and the cooler of blood vials within reach.
As he settles in to wait again he pauses, suddenly stricken by a reminder of the last time he'd been left alone in a quiet room with a dead body, the silence so heavy it was nearly suffocating. It's not as funny as remembering the interrogation room.
It's actually a relief when Akira lurches back to 'life', though Akechi doesn't let himself bask in it. He rises from his chair, grabs one of those vials of blood, and uncorks it. Akechi's pretty sure someone living will smell better than any amount of blood donations, but he's banking on the fact that the immediacy of the vials will outweigh anything else. ]
Kurusu.
[ No need to be polite now. Akechi just needs his attention. ]

Though, with how quickly the vampire's gaze snaps over there, it may be glaringly obvious that it wasn't the voice; as soon as the vial is uncorked, Akira's gaze is snapping right to that particular object. And then he's moving towards it, with speed that only a feral or unhinged vampire could manage.
An almost choked sound escapes as one hand grabs for the vial. While his other hand does grab Akechi's wrist and keep its grip on there, Akira's downing those vials with clear desperation.
Hopefully, Akechi will be moving fast with uncorking the next ones (and that having one wrist gripped so tightly won't hinder anything, whoops). ]

He has the foresight to grab for another vial and uncork it (with his teeth this time) when he sees how desperate Akira is, and as soon as he's done with the first the second one is handed over. The moment it's out of his hand he grabs a third one and uncorks it as well. He knew ahead of time that he probably didn't have enough of these to do more than slow Akira together, but now he's thinking he should get that bag of marbles for Akira to count ready now. ]

... And, well... the whole trusting Akechi thing.
In any case, there's no hesitation to grab that next vial, eagerly downing that one. It's the exact same thing with the next one, though by the third there's the hint of something that's more... Akira in his gaze. While it's very subtle, an observant eye should be able to detect there's at least an internal fight being attempted.
Something only a little less blind, raw, and feral. So, that definitely doesn't mean there's any room for a single pause on Akechi's end. Unless a distraction or another vial is ready, the second that third one is gone, he'll be grabbing for the front of his shirt. ]
no subject
There's only one vial left after the third (blood is expensive), but Akechi knows he'll just have to deal with whatever comes next. He he hands it over and braces himself and... nothing happens.
Or rather, nothing happens yet. Akechi doesn't let his guard down (not that it'll help) but he does finally venture a different tactic. ]
Feeling better?
[ If he can at least get Akira talking, whatever comes next might be less messy. ]
no subject
Words, though... Akira's teeth clench together. Not only is trying to focus on words far more difficult than usual, he... doesn't have to breathe anymore. Yay... undead... ]
... Status pending.
[ A poor attempt at a joke, but it being an attempt at a joke at all might say something. There's a growl after that, though, and he very firmly presses his forehead against the wall next to Akechi's shoulder. It's probably dangerous to keep his mouth there of all places, but... well. Part of what makes it dangerous happens to be the reason for it. ]
Shit...
[ All the while, one hand does grab for the front of Akechi's shirt, but it's to curl into the fabric there. A silent warning that he's barely hanging on, given the hints of trembling. If Akechi doesn't have any ideas to keep him focused on something else for a moment (like the frustrating counting thing)... well...
He can probably guess what'll be coming next. ]
Closed to Connor; underwater adventures, roughly a week after death?
Plus, while Akira isn't an awful swimmer, he's always glad for chances to strengthen skills. Swimming seems like a great thing to improve, and maybe a part of him is feeling spiteful at one of his new fears - stupid moving water phobia...
Anyway, once he's down there with Connor, he's brightening up a lot and giving his Merrow Bond a grin. Where would he like to go? ]
no subject
I have something I'd like to show you.
[He skims the sea bed as they go, occasionally stopping to pick up something and put it in the bag he carries with him underwater. Mostly insignificant things- sea glass, shells, a pebble or two. They all catch his eye for one reason or another, maybe because the shape pleases him or because the light hit them in just the right way.
He hugs a rocky wall as he comes to it, before disappearing with a flick of his tail into a cave system. It's not easy to see the narrow entrance, but he does poke his head back out again to make sure Akira is still following along.]
no subject
Okay.
[ There's a small grin. And... Connor definitely has it easier with the tail, but that doesn't stop Akira from giving his all to keep up. Fortunately, Akira is used to have to look closely for hidden passageways. While he doesn't have his Third Eye, he is watching Connor closely.
Akira smiles as Connor peeks back out, nodding to indicate he's good to go. ]

Pushing his hair back out of his face, Connor watches for Akira and smiles.]
I like it here. Nobody else comes here, so it's peaceful.
Clothing Woes w/ Saori - later half of the month
So, it's somewhat later in the day that he approaches her with an obvious kind of look on his face - there's something he wants to ask, but is having trouble
picking a dialogue optiondeciding exactly how to ask . . . So, time to just default to a simple: ]Hey.

Oh, hey there. What's up?
