Who: Scathach and invited others (4th Wallers welcome!)
When: Late May, shortly after her post
Where: A ways outside the wall, imagining how wild this might get
What: It's time to punch a friend and drink with them, all out bedlam
Warnings: Violence, alcohol, will add more as needed!
[ So maybe there WAS a prize, in the end, huh? ]
[[ ooc: anyone can make their own open top levels on this post. just set up a prompt and away you go! fighting, drinking, seeing a medic, feel free to roll with it however you like! ]]

[ A small platform had been set up in the clearing next to the makeshift bar and stacks of barrels for Scathach to stand upon and make the opening declaration to the gathered crowd of warriors. She pulled her mask down before speaking, assuring she wouldn't be misheard. And when she spoke, her voice came clear as thunder, and just as loud. ]
Alright, you bastards, listen up! This is a Warrior's Brawl, and we'll be operating under some rules that you'd damn well better pay attention to. Anyone caught violating them will be answering to me, and I won't hold back for anyone's sake. You got me?
[ After an affirmation, she continued ]
I expect you to conduct yourselves as warriors. That means no cheap tricks or unfair play. I don't care if you keep it above the belt or not, but don't be using anything cowardly like sleep spells or the like. If you think someone's cheating, I'll deal with the,
Secondly, the whiskey is on the house. I've got enough barrels here to keep the lot of you drunk for a week, so don't hold back! [ She gestured towards the bar, Jill already standing there ready to serve the crowd. ]
Regular whiskey to anyone, but the good scotch? That's only for winners, lads and lasses, so don't ask for it if you haven't put at least one opponent down today. [ A bright laugh. ]
Lastly, we've got volunteer medics on standby. This is a friendly brawl, so don't you dare go killing or maiming anyone. But if you do get hurt to the point you can't keep fighting, a medic will see you. Don't push yourselves to the point of idiocy. You don't have to prove anything to me.
[ With that, Scathach hopped down from the platform and spun her spear into place, pointing at the sky above with a wild grin. ]
Every warrior fight another! I'll share a drink with the last one standing!

The weapon that sits in her hand is an elaborate blade. But it's far from the only one she has.]
I'll warn you now, I'm not someone you wanna underestimate. [...] But if you want, you can choose the weapon I use. Doesn't matter to me.
[You have the choice of her sword, a nasty looking spear, chakram or combat bracers. The sword seems to be her natural choice, but she doesn't seem bothered by the idea of switching it up as she's told.]

The turnskin woman didn't wear any armor, either. She seemed to prefer tight fitting, but easily stretched garments, almost like fighting in one's own skin. A preference for most celts, really. Armor more often got in the way than it protected. Just some pauldrons or a helmet to protect from arrows were all most needed. And since there were no archers here, she did without them entirely. Her spear, blood red, was enough armament. ]
I'll test your spear against mine, first, if you'd be so kind as to indulge me...

Or perhaps you've noticed she's being reticent about chasing after people in her own right, and want to pursue her yourself? She's well aware of her surroundings, her sharp hearing focused on the area around her, and the adrenaline means she'll be ready at the draw of her greatsword in an instant.
Either way, come at her!]

Could she strike before that blade could be unsheathed?
She wasn't sure for now, she'd test how the woman reacted to the fae moving.]

No, she's here to work her muscles since it's been a good while since she's had a fight.
However, while her sword is drawn, Mira's only going to attack if someone strikes first. It's a good way to gauge how they fight after all. Perhaps she'll get a challenge.]
Bartending (OTA)
No way in hell was she qualified enough to actually fight someone. But she sure as shit was qualified to mix drinks and keep her station in order.
Though, she would only be present during the night hours due her being a vampire.
It was fun, at least. A nice, if weird, change of pace for her.]
Good evening. What can I get for you?

So the fae had turned up completely empty-handed, expecting a fistfight. Only to find multiple people with actual swords. And while she was pretty sure she could get a hit in on some of them before they could slash at her. She wasn't inclined to try it. Instead, Mikasa rolled her neck and shoulders and wandered looking for a more suitable person for her to tumble with. But the woman, the one whose voice she recognized from the network, her comment made the fae turn to said bar. Then back, and yell.]
What do the people who have no interest in alcohol get?
[She wasn't exactly interested in a prize, but it was the principle. She cn get drunk on the air.]
