[open] Can you see that big green tree
Who: Demyx
When: throughout May
Where: Around Aef
What: Quests + a general catch-all!
Warnings: None atm, but will update!
[I. River Cleanup]
[Most of the time, Demyx would be one to shy away from doing any real work, especially when manual labor gets involved. But then again, most of the time one doesn't dip their feet into the river and lift them up to find a scrap of what one hopes is just an old piece of clothing. Even hours later as he stands - or more accurately, sits - in the river with a decently sized pile of garbage on the shore behind him, he wears a look of disgust on his face as the gills on the sides of his neck occasionally flare with each new object he picks up from underwater.
In one particular instance, it just so happens to be an old shoe. Yuck. Without looking, he chucks it towards the shore. If he comes close to smacking someone (or actually does), he doesn't mean it!]
Jeez, how long have people been throwing trash in here? Talk about gross.
[II. Beauty Underneath]
[Manual labor was never his thing, and he was quickly discovering that baking was... a lot harder than he thought it was. While the rains last month left him cautious of busking on the street corners, the warmer weather made it nearly unbearable. Maybe it was the humidity that came with it, maybe it was the Merrow side of him - he didn't know, but whatever it was it wasn't fantastic and left him running low on funds.
At least delivering letters was a quick, easy way to make some sort of extra cash. Now if only he could read the handwriting of the old man who had asked for him to drop said letters off... Well, best to find someone who can, right? And maybe get some directions while he's at it...]
Hey! Hey, uh. 'scuse me! Do you know how to get to, uh...
[The Merrow's face scrunches up for a moment as he looks back at the letter in his hands--]
Uhtce...somethin'?
[III. Fathoms Above]
[He's in the Harbor District.
He's in the Harbor District staring at a stall full of freshly caught fish.
Not only that, he's starving. Sure, there's a perfectly good tavern not too far from here, but there's something about the fish that looks good. Or more accurately, smells good. Maybe if he just... No, it's too open. Too obvious. Demyx knows there's no way he could snipe one and bolt with it. It's simply too big to hide away. Why couldn't this be at night? Why is it so expensive?
Whatever is going through this Merrow's mind, it's definitely nothing good.]
[IV. Something different!]

behelit or drop a PM!]

[She speaks up from behind him, irritated at how he's just... standing there and not doing anything.]
