[ Glancing at him over her shoulder, she blushes a tiny amount, and flashing him a smile before flicking her gaze to the horizon. ]

I have a vested interest in what makes a country grow, so it simply struck me. These fish live here as we do, yes? Surely they must find the amount of trash to be a thorn in their side.

[twilightskey]

Yeah, that’s fair. Some people don’t think about it, I guess.

[He certainly hadn’t, not at first. Maybe it’s part of that city kid upbringing. And the Nobody upbringing.]

In my world, finding garbage like this isn’t uncommon. People put up help ads to clear trash from the alleys or take it down the street all the time to help keep the town clean, but there’s still plenty of garbage to get rid of. Not that there’s garbage everywhere, but... well, there’s enough to make some money off getting rid of it.

Such a thing is not uncommon in my homeland, as well. Often, it is a community service we sentence those who commit petty crimes to do. I suppose people have the same idea everywhere. One must work if one wants a beautiful city.

[ A chuckle escapes her. ]

They say one man's trash is another's treasure, though. Have you seen that pile there, of the multi-colored glass?

You’re right. If everyone threw out their trash properly, you wouldn’t have to force people to do so. I wouldn’t put it past Seifer to force people to pick up garbage as a ‘disciplinary measure’.

[Assuming that wasn’t something Seifer already did.]

Huh? [He turns to where she motions, tilting his head a bit.]

Oh, yeah, I did. I thought it was going to be thrown out with the other garbage. You’ve got other ideas for it?

I have not yet met someone named "Seifer." [ With a quirk of her lips, Zelda wonders if she should keep an eye out. ]

I do, yes. Have you heard of glass art?

He's someone from my world. I don't think he's actually here, but he's the head of the disciplinary committee. So I could see him forcing people to pick up garbage as a punishment.

[He pauses, thinking for a moment before nodding. He remembers the giant stained glass displays that make up the surface of one's heart station, at least.]

Yeah, I've heard of it. Are you going to try making some?

[ There is, admittedly, a question nagging her. Her gaze roves over familiar points in his face, features not quite exact but hazily similar, like recognizing something from a dream. She does wonder if she can go hunting for a trout or bass or something with rainbow scales, but... ]

I had been considering it. It seemed a waste to not recycle, at least. Perhaps a windchime?

[ It seems like she might wait a moment, as if to hear his opinion on the prospect. ]

Are you looking for him? This Seifer person. Is he a friend?

I think that would be pretty cool. I'd like to see how that turns out.

[He's not the craftiest person, but he's seen the Moogles put baubles and gems together in ways that make charms, accessories, and weapons before. It's fascinating to see, so he's genuinely curious about Zelda's ability!]

Ah... well, sort of, I guess? He's someone I know, but I don't know if I could call him a friend. We're more rivals, I guess.

But, if I had to pick someone I'm looking for here, it would be my friends from home. There's a few of them; Axel, Xion, Hayner, Pence, and Olette.

[ She'll have to invite him with her, see if he'd be interested in seeing the process and the result. He makes no indication of wanting to try it himself, but perhaps she could convince him... After all, doing something new is best with someone else, in her opinion.

But truthfully, she's more interested in Roxas at the moment. Standing with her hair fanning out into the water, she lifts it and begins to wring it dry. ]

I shall keep note of those names for you, then. I assume Seifer is one of those who feels a need to... [ She chuckles. ] Assert himself? I am familiar with such people.

[ A beat. ]

I feel something... familiar with you, as well. We've met before, but it's a sense of deja vu... [ She hums. ] Have you met a young woman who looks strikingly like me?

[twilightskey]

Thanks. I appreciate it.

[He chuckles in response.] Yeah, that sounds like him all right.

[Especially since he's apparently gone off on some sort of hero's journey with Rai and Fuu.]

[He blinks, one of his ears flicking downward.]

Huh? You do? [He pauses to think it over.] I don't think I have... is there someone here who looks like you?
