There are brief moments here and there where he lands a hit with the flat of his blade, harmlessly grazing a shoulder or a hip, but for the most part, he's focused on staying on his feet, because when that lance hits, it hits hard—driving past his guard to strike him in the side, boots skidding on the polished floor as he skips one-two steps and stumbles with the force of the blow.
He wheezes, half-bent at the waist. ]
You don't pull your punches, do you?

Like hell.
[Fang settles into a wide stance, rolling her left to work out the smarting ache in her shoulder. Her lance hangs one-handed at the ready a little behind her.]
'sides, you seem like that type that'd get all huffy if I did. ["How bold of you to hold back against me," etc etc.] You always dance on your feet like that?
[The way he fought, all darting flashes of metal—it reminded her of Lightning, really. She swings her lance around into a two-handed grip; one end pointed at Felix, the other by her back shoulder in a high guard.]

...Probably. He's never shy about his thoughts or his standards when it comes to a fight. ]
Of course. Better to stay on your toes in close quarters.
[ He steps back, bending at the knees and turning his upper body one way, then the other, just to make sure he still has his full range of movement. He thinks he'll bruise, but that's nothing new. ]
It keeps my opponent guessing, and keeps me out of harm's way. But I suppose, if you're relying on brute force...
[ He arches an eyebrow and darts in low, aiming for the space beneath her guard, the opposite hip from where he struck before. ]
That might not be your best strategy.
