[ He'll have the presence of mind later to be humiliated about having slobbered all over the top of her head, but right now, he's all wolf, and it seems only natural.

As does what happens next, which is that he ducks his head for scritches, and his tail starts to thump-thump against the cobblestones. ]

It was— [ He makes a grumbling noise, not really a growl, shaking his head, ] precarious. I'm sorry. But I respect your courage.

[seemstressed]

No need to fret now. It's all fine.

_{[Okay, she honestly can't help but laugh lightly when she hears his tail start to go and his head lowers for her to gain better access to the top. Little hands work their magic as she smooths her palms over the top of of his head, flattening his ears and scratching behind them.]}

Glad you realize how brave a little Lalafell lady can be!

[ Felix laughs—really more a grumbly puff of air than a laugh—and reaches out to paw the tuft of hair he licked stick-straight upward flat. He really is sorry about that. ]

Under the circumstances? Braver than most.

[ She's no powerful warrior (not yet, anyway) and her size puts her at a disadvantage, but she took the leap anyway, and he's grateful for that.

He lets her pet him for a moment longer—still making gruff little barking noises every time she finds some sweet spot just behind his ears—before slumping down onto the cobblestones, paws folded beneath his chin. ]

I won't trouble you any longer. I'm sure it's been a trying evening... you're free to go. Just lock the door behind you.

[seemstressed]

_{[It's alright. She'll wash her hair and she'll be as right as rain. A bit of slobber is something she can deal with well enough. As he slumps down she follows him, kneeling before his head as her hands still smooth fur down and ears are scratched accordingly.]}

Alright. I'll be off to wash my hair then.

_{[A few more little scritches and she gives him a solid pat on his head before sticking her measuring tape and notebook back into her pockets.]}

You be well, okay? Tell me how you are once this has come to pass and I'll show you what designs I've come up with in the meantime.

[finesseblade]

[ Felix grunts in response, one golden eye lazily following her movements. ]

Mmhm. I will.

[ He yawns, baring teeth briefly, thankfully not in a threat display this time. Both eyes flutter shut then, ears falling flat and relaxed.

He'll be fine. He handled this... as well as can be expected. ]

[ This will go on to be the first night he actually manages to sleep off most of his shift, and maybe it's a little bit her doing. ]
