[Apparently, his helper wasn't ready.

Metal tumbles into the mud, splashing some of the wetter clumps onto Dimitri's boots, speckling the other man as well. Dimitri is more concerned about the state of the makeshift roof - he doesn't want to force this poor woman to live under dripping muck and cracking soil.

With a sigh, he lifts it only to throw it aside - one handed, a casual display of brute strength he gives no second thought to. Maybe he should have, because doing so only splatters more mud on the two of them.

Face freckled with dirt, Dimitri resets his wooden beams and leans them on one another.] I'm sorry, I should have counted down.
