[SEMI-OPEN] Better not be the one who falls in love again
Who: Connor and an open prompt (with other closed prompts later)
When: April!
Where: Aefenglom
What: Meteor shower for now
Warnings: None yet
Everyone wants to fly with the fireflies; (April 3rd)
[It's beautiful, honestly. Connor has never seen a meteor shower, nor has he seen the insects that accompany it. They land on him, and he might glow a soft pink or blue in places, or even green. The emotions that accompany the colours don't bother him as much as the folks pushing him towards anyone whose colours match, but he just lets it happen. He was going to meet new people anyway, right? Strangers get small, polite smiles.]
I'm sorry. We could take this time to get to know each other better, and they'll leave us alone?
[Of course, people who know him get a different response-]
Oh. Well, it could probably be worse.
[He's joking. Made (hopefully) obvious by the way he nudges the other person playfully. The Full Moons are nearing, he's feeling a little bit sassy.]
Wildcard;
(I'll write a prompt out if we plot something, or you can write your own! I'd rather keep memory share stuff to the event post when it goes up, but anything else goes! My plurk is novicecity if you want to plan something! As for which colour Connor gets, I'll either RNG it or you can pick~)

...I could see it. It would do a lot of good for the people here.
[He seems to brighten a little at the prospect.]
It sounds like a great idea.

Where would they get the resources? The manpower to build such a thing? Would the city proper tolerate what essentially constituted their surrounding districts raising a standing army?
All questions he can find the answers to, later.] I'm happy to hear it.
We may be biting off more than we can chew, but I'd prefer to keep something like this on our level, rather than going to the authorities.
[Less red tape - and less chances to be told no.]
That said, if you know of anyone like us who would be willing to help, please don't hesitate to reach out.

[He can't speak for anyone in particular, but having some Witches on hand would make things a lot easier.]
Asking around seems like the safest bet. If enough people seem interested, I don't see why we couldn't try.

But Dimitri believes this could truly help in the long run.
If feathers are rustled, that can be dealt with as they progress. As important of a step in the process as is actual construction and combat lessons.] I wonder if any would be willing to teach magic here, as well.
I doubt those from the outer city would be welcomed into the Coven itself, but if a few Witches among us were able...
What do you think?

Magic seems a little more of a touchy subject. It's one thing to teach these people to defend themselves without it, but... magic can be more dangerous. I can see why it would benefit them, though.
[The idea isn't absurd, but Connor thinks it would be harder to get people on board with it.]

[Dimitri is firm in his response, though he does consider Connor's objection. If they're trying to create something beneficial, it's best not to make something people will fear and suppress.
It's a subtle endeavor, and Dimitri has little talent for that sort of thing.] We could start with practical things, and ask mirrorbound to teach.
