🌸Tea Time🌸

After all the fussing and effort put into decorating Sylvain's ballroom, Tataru and her "assistants" have transformed the area into one worthy of inviting princesses to high tea. Tables have been set up throughout the ballroom, flowers and other decorations adorning the tables and walls. Little Ladies are invited to sit where they please to be served while live music plays. When it comes to tasty treats and drinks (both alcoholic and not), there's a special menu to choose from, along with your standard high tea fair of scones, tea sandwiches, petit fours and of course, tea. Loyal Seneschals are at the beck and call of their Ladies, whether they're focused on one particular individual or a group.

Socializing is encouraged and if Ladies tire of sitting at the tables to snack and sip away at their tea, they're encouraged to relax and recline in the Tête-à-Tête sofas set up in another area of the room, either with another fellow Lady or a Seneschal who's willing to charm them or show off their listening skills. There is, of course, space free for those who wish to use the ballroom as it was intended to be - for dancing - and with the lively music filling the room why not take the opportunity to? It's all in good fun, after all.

🌸Lights! Camera! Action!🌸

Prompto finally has his camera working again and Tataru's decided it would be a great idea for him to participate as a photographer and get new clients for his photography business! One of the activities of Little Ladies' Day back in Eorzea is Ladies posing in front of backdrops that are set up around the city-states. To emulate this exciting experience, various backdrops have been set up outside in the yard for Little Ladies to have their photographs taken. The main attraction? A chocobo drawn carriage for that special princess aesthetic. Yeah...

There is also a dressing room area for Ladies to get dressed up or borrow a few donated outfits for the event (from local shops), if they were unable to get their own gear to wear, if they so wish to do so. The room itself that contains said outfits has been turned into a makeshift powder room with a mirror and vanity space for touch ups. Every Little Lady ought to look their best, after all.

🌸Adorable Adoption🌸

Hector has volunteered to bring a few well-behaved fuzzy friends along (cats and dogs) for Little Ladies to play with and pet. All the animals will be up for adoption, and would make good Familiars for Witches who might need one in their lives. His makeshift petting zoo is set up in a segregated area of the yard, to make sure no animals go missing. Everyone who is an animal lover is encouraged to play, pet and love on the animals that have been brought along. If you do wish to adopt one, you'll have to be up to Hector's standards however. They deserve to go to good homes, after all!

What does it mean to be a Loyal Seneschal or Little Lady?: The role of Seneschal is quite fluid; ultimately it hinges on making sure no Lady goes without a smile on their face during their special day. Whether that's through serving them, entertaining them, being a companion or maybe going home with them to help them do a few chores around their house...it's seriously up to you! Get creative! If you're a Little Lady all that means is that you're a woman and it's Your Day to be Appreciated. Own it. (And no, don't even think about trying to be a Seneschal if you're a Lady - Tataru will hunt you down.)
How will my character find out about the event?: If your character didn't see Tataru's post about it on the network for whatever reason, she's also been sticking flyers up around the city for it. Tataru's quite the busybody so if you need to come up with an excuse for your character/their business to get involved feel free to have them either have heard of it from local businesses that are participating in the festivities, the flyers or even Tataru herself if they have CR of some kind.

I want to play around with Little Ladies' Day after the tea event!: Go for it! Tataru's been working hard hustling local businesses and Mirrorbound alike to participate in the Eorzean tradition. Making a compelling case to incorporate it into Eostre's festivities, she's managed to arrange a few collaborations for the Ladies of Aefenglom to enjoy. Feel free to play around with local cafes or shops that may have special menus or deals on made in the spirit of the holiday. Also go wild when it comes to playing up your Little Lady and Loyal Seneschal roles. It's All Women Are Queens Day, after all.

[Not classical, huh? Sora seems to perk in interest at being taught how to dance properly. Maybe he should give it a go. He's fairly coordinated, luckily.]

Great! Uh, nope. I think you're the first chimera I've ever seen. You look like... a bunch of different things.

[She brought up a wing-still missing its flight feathers-and moved it so it could brush against Sora's arm. It wasn't quite the same as normal feathers, since well, owl feathers had little ridges to muffle their flight.]

A chimera in mythlogy is a blend of many creatures. I am only about...three. No, four, including the human.

I've a housemate who is also a chimera but his features are far more...varied.

[Tentacles, it's tentacles.]

[Sora can't help the little curious look he gives, his long ears twitching and moving with the motion of her wings brushing against him. It's odd to sit so close to a chimera, one that could really hunt him down from the looks of it.

Maybe he shouldn't think about that part too hard.]

That's so cool. [Sora exclaims with a small inhale.] Do you gotta eat different food now? How do you sleep with those wings?

[Sora still thinks she's so pretty, even if a chimera looks so dangerous.]

[It was tempting to lean in and stiff. But she was used to suppressing such urges, thankfully.]

Usually I need to sprawl out on top of the bed, and let my wings spread, on my stomach. I used to sleep on my back, but once they wings started to come in...

[She grimaced.]

I had to learn new sleep habits. But...as for food habits...

I do need more meat.

[And yet, while she's tucking her wings back in, she does take a little pastry and nibbles it. She can still eat it, so that's something.]

[Sora was about to touch the fluffy wing with the tips of his fingers in reckless curiosity but he pauses as soon as she says she does have to eat more meat.

Yep, a little nervous. But he's managing to keep it to himself!]

You don't say! [ha ha ha] I've noticed I've gotta eat a lot of veggies and stuff now. It's nothing like it was before.

[He kind of misses the taste of meat... But it makes him physically ill now.]

Aaaah, you would, being a puca.

[Poor Sora. At least she's actually behaving herself today. It's a small miracle she's not being a menace.

Maybe it's the clothes...?]

But liking being a chimera...yes and no. I like the strength but...I miss shoes.

[Dressing fancy might have something to do with it, for sure. Sora himself is enjoying looking a little more dapper than usual. No need to ruin the atmosphere and the aesthetic of tea time!

Sora can't help letting out a small laugh.]

I think I'd miss shoes, too. I wonder if that will happen to me.

[But he likes his toes!]

Everything is still pretty new to me but it's alright so far! My hearing is better and the food is good. Magic smells good. I don't like that I have fur growing in, uh, weird places.

[She blames her bonded, Enkidu- they wanted her to have fun and dress up, and of course she had to wear something delicate. Because the delicate one was the prettiest!]

Well, even if you do, you can cheat. Pucas can transform. Least, that's what I've heard.

[So part time toes?]

But the fur...you get used to it. Just wait until it's shedding season.

Then you'll really dislike your fur.

Transform...?! [Sora tilts his head quizzically.] I think I've heard a little about that. But it's all just super temporary, right?

[So no matter what he will still have to live with rabbit appendages and a ton of fuzzy fur on his body. He's not looking forward to shedding. He has a feeling his bondmate might just kick him out of bed for that part.]

Yeah, more cake sounds good.

[And Sora goes about to cut and serve it.]

I have no idea. I don't know much about pucas.

[They're bunnies, they run fast, they transform and smells delicious????

That's about it! Also, fun to chase.]

Ah, thank you- worried I'd want to nibble you?

[She knows he's fulfilling his role, but she wants to see if he'll blush.]

[Nibble on him?! Sora quickly glances at her and that telltale blush sure does bloom across his cheeks!]

Huh?! No, I'm not worried! [Okay, he's a little worried.] You wouldn't want to nibble on me anyway! I'm all skin and bones.

[He's probably not delicious!! Probably!!]

[Ah, cute...there it is. Her tail twitches behind her, and she smiles.]

Oh, I don't know. You may be all skin and bones, but your cheeks look nice and soft.

[Maybe a little delicious.]

[Oh geeze- He doesn't know if he should be flattered or nervous.]

Hey- Come on...! It's not like that!

Oh no? Hold still for a moment, and I'll determine the truth.

[Caren please.]

[Oh no. Now she made it into a challenge as asked if he's too scared. Those are the magic words to get Sora to do a lot of things. He straightens his shoulders and his ears perk right up.]

No... No, I'm not scared.

[She's not sorry! She's here and having a great time. So she smiles at him, and leans forward to tap him on the nose.]

Then you won't mind closing your eyes and not shying away for a few minutes, mm?

[Gosh- She's really pretty real close up like this. This isn't fair. Why are carnivores kind of alluring like this. Does he want to be nibbled on? No??? But----]

Ermm... Okay. Do your worst, I'm not scared.

[He fusses slightly and closes his eyes. Is this a bad idea...]

[She's very good at teasing too, that doesn't help at all.]

I'm not going to do my worst, silly.

[Fussy rabbit. She does scrape her teeth against his cheek, but that's only to make him shiver. For his troubles, she'll give him a line of kisses, from his cheeks to his lips.

They're gentle and very sweet.]

[!!!!! The feeling of sharp teeth on his cheek certainly makes his nerves flare up and a shiver tickle down his spine. His eyes snap open as his cheeks burn with a blush. He's never really had a pretty girl pay attention to him like this. And the little kisses to his cheeks makes his ears quiver and he really... likes it.

But as soon as she gets fairly close to his lips Sora does jolt a bit, pulling back so he doesn't receive on there!]

Wait-! Wait-! [He's so riled up.] Sorry! That felt really, uh... Wow!

[Oh, he moved back. No following then! She pulled back, and made to scoop a bit of tiramasu on her spoon.

And she'll nudge her plate towards him as a way of offering some of her food in apology.]

No, it's fine. I pushed a little too hard. So- here. Have some.

[Sora is still blushing quite furiously. His rabbit ears twitching at every one of her little movements.]

It's okay! It's okay. I guess I kind of asked for it.

[And it was NICE. He got a kiss from a girl on his cheek! But he's a bit of a romantic so he's saving his first kiss but would he tell that to a pretty girl? No, that's so uncool. He does take a bite of the delicious tiramisu!]

[She's got herself a pink rabbit on her hands! Well, he's cute, so she won't nibble him. Not too much at least.]

A little, but I egged you on, didn't I?

[Though this makes her wonder...]

Have you ever been kissed before Sora?

[Caren...you're going to make him choke...]

[A very pink rabbit. One that does indeed make a noise around his fork of cake.]

Ah- Uh. [So much for being kind of cool in front of a pretty girl.] I've never kissed anyone, no... That's not a bad thing, right?

[Here she'll just. Pat you on the shoulder Sora.]

No, it's not a bad thing. It just is something that does or doesn't happen.

[She shrugs. First kiss? No big deal to her.]

And if you don't want to kiss yet, that's fine too. And while I'm curious why, you don't have to say.
