After all the fussing and effort put into decorating Sylvain's ballroom, Tataru and her "assistants" have transformed the area into one worthy of inviting princesses to high tea. Tables have been set up throughout the ballroom, flowers and other decorations adorning the tables and walls. Little Ladies are invited to sit where they please to be served while live music plays. When it comes to tasty treats and drinks (both alcoholic and not), there's a special menu to choose from, along with your standard high tea fair of scones, tea sandwiches, petit fours and of course, tea. Loyal Seneschals are at the beck and call of their Ladies, whether they're focused on one particular individual or a group.

Socializing is encouraged and if Ladies tire of sitting at the tables to snack and sip away at their tea, they're encouraged to relax and recline in the Tête-à-Tête sofas set up in another area of the room, either with another fellow Lady or a Seneschal who's willing to charm them or show off their listening skills. There is, of course, space free for those who wish to use the ballroom as it was intended to be - for dancing - and with the lively music filling the room why not take the opportunity to? It's all in good fun, after all.

🌸Lights! Camera! Action!🌸

Prompto finally has his camera working again and Tataru's decided it would be a great idea for him to participate as a photographer and get new clients for his photography business! One of the activities of Little Ladies' Day back in Eorzea is Ladies posing in front of backdrops that are set up around the city-states. To emulate this exciting experience, various backdrops have been set up outside in the yard for Little Ladies to have their photographs taken. The main attraction? A chocobo drawn carriage for that special princess aesthetic. Yeah...

There is also a dressing room area for Ladies to get dressed up or borrow a few donated outfits for the event (from local shops), if they were unable to get their own gear to wear, if they so wish to do so. The room itself that contains said outfits has been turned into a makeshift powder room with a mirror and vanity space for touch ups. Every Little Lady ought to look their best, after all.

🌸Adorable Adoption🌸

Hector has volunteered to bring a few well-behaved fuzzy friends along (cats and dogs) for Little Ladies to play with and pet. All the animals will be up for adoption, and would make good Familiars for Witches who might need one in their lives. His makeshift petting zoo is set up in a segregated area of the yard, to make sure no animals go missing. Everyone who is an animal lover is encouraged to play, pet and love on the animals that have been brought along. If you do wish to adopt one, you'll have to be up to Hector's standards however. They deserve to go to good homes, after all!

What does it mean to be a Loyal Seneschal or Little Lady?: The role of Seneschal is quite fluid; ultimately it hinges on making sure no Lady goes without a smile on their face during their special day. Whether that's through serving them, entertaining them, being a companion or maybe going home with them to help them do a few chores around their house...it's seriously up to you! Get creative! If you're a Little Lady all that means is that you're a woman and it's Your Day to be Appreciated. Own it. (And no, don't even think about trying to be a Seneschal if you're a Lady - Tataru will hunt you down.)
How will my character find out about the event?: If your character didn't see Tataru's post about it on the network for whatever reason, she's also been sticking flyers up around the city for it. Tataru's quite the busybody so if you need to come up with an excuse for your character/their business to get involved feel free to have them either have heard of it from local businesses that are participating in the festivities, the flyers or even Tataru herself if they have CR of some kind.

I want to play around with Little Ladies' Day after the tea event!: Go for it! Tataru's been working hard hustling local businesses and Mirrorbound alike to participate in the Eorzean tradition. Making a compelling case to incorporate it into Eostre's festivities, she's managed to arrange a few collaborations for the Ladies of Aefenglom to enjoy. Feel free to play around with local cafes or shops that may have special menus or deals on made in the spirit of the holiday. Also go wild when it comes to playing up your Little Lady and Loyal Seneschal roles. It's All Women Are Queens Day, after all.

[The first thing Caren might notice about Enkidu is that they're happy. With every thing they do they hum soft songs and for once there's a healthy sort of blush on their cheeks.]

Ah Caren, I think it is fitting to put flowers in your hair. [She has quite beautiful hair. Long and curly and it makes perfectly sense that flowers belong in it.] If not, will you put flowers in mine?

[Slowly they lean in and touch her hair briefly.]

Must I dress up in a certain way?

[To be fair, Enkidu, that plain white sheet you call clothes isn't going to cut it this time.]

[Enkidu is very happy. She's not sure what it is that has them in such a good mood but-she assumes that it may have something to do with Gilgamesh coming back into their life.

Or the fact that the flowers were starting to bloom and the earth was waking up. Maybe both. She lets them touch her hair, and looks up at him with a hum.]

There's a dress code for this, so yes. Either as a Seneschal or a lady, you need to dress up. Thankfully, I have a few options for you to wear.

[Lightly, she brushed her fingers over their hair.]

But we can both have flowers in our hair. But first-this means brushing out your hair. I can't put it up if it's tangled.

...and after, you can pick what flowers are put in your hair and mine. I'll give you the cunes. My garden hasn't flowered yet.

[enkidoh]

I would not mind dressing the way you do. I cannot give myself a bosom but I think a dress will suit me well.

[They are neither a man or a woman. Gender is a very neutral thing to them.]

I will help with your garden when we are done. [But it is true, though. Their hair is tangled. One of the reasons is them being busy with that treehouse. And there is making up for lost times with Gil.] I have learned some spells that can enhance a flower's growth.

[Eventually they sit down.]

I would appreciate if you can brush the lower area a bit. My hair has grown quite long.

[Her words are fond, and she moves a little ways away to grab one of her hair brushes. They're gonna be here for awhile.]

I would appreciate if you look over the garden. No need to force bloom but- I hope it's healthy.

[She moves to stand behind them, fanning out their hair. It's true. It's grown out and it's very long.]

Are you thinking of cutting and styling it? Or just trimming?

[enkidoh]

[They start to notice that their bond with Caren is something calm. The type of bond where they undertake things and braid one another's hair. She bakes for them and they fuss over her plants. In a way she teaches them to be human, how to behave, how to interpret some things.

In a way it is the complete opposite of the bond they share with Gil. With him everything is familiar but way more intense. There are feelings they cannot even comprehend or name.

But this? This is just nice. Calming. Fun.]

If that is true I could go without clothes. [They chuckle.] But thank you for the compliment. [They nod.] I will look for sick plants and try to make them healthy again.

[To be fair, Enkidu does cut their hair a little. When their bangs grow too long they cut them. But that is all, really.]

No. Do you want to cut it? I do not mind if you do so. What is the difference between trimming and styling?

[It's a calm bond, a good one for their growing friendship. They enjoy each others company, do small courtesies for each other.

[She kissed Enkidu's head, still brushing their hair.]

I would enjoy your nudity, but it isn't socially acceptable to go about town. We'll have to dress you. As for trimming and styling...

Trimming just shortens the length. Styling means doing something with your hair, including cutting it in layers, braiding...curling it, and of course, weave flowers into it.

Maybe...I can trim it. Layering, not so much.

[Everything they do together are small things. There aren't any big outbursts, no big feelings. There are no questions, just answers.]

You do not have to thank me. I like caring for plants. Hmm...even though I am fond of humanity, of humans and all their stories and abilities...I prefer nature. [They hum softly when she kisses their head.] I know of that, people are fond of their clothes. To me it does not matter much.

[Slowly they gesture at their hair.]

I trust you with my hair. Just do not remove all of it.

[It's just a quiet acceptance for each other.]

I know I don't. But...the garden is important to me. People are difficult for me too sometimes, so the garden...that's my retreat. My safe place. If it's taken care of-that puts my heart at ease.

We'll have a discussion of clothes later, since I know you don't want to miss the event.

[Or have her miss the event, rather. Still, she offers a gentle tug on their hair.]

I wouldn't take this from you. I'll braid it today. We'll see about trimming it later, if there's a need.

Ah then I shall teach you about plants...how to listen to them and take care of them. Of course, now I am not a Servant anymore most of my abilities are gone. But I still have ears.

[They move to sit down properly and let her to braid their hair.]

I want to wear something light colored. Not heavy and dark like everything in this city. [Then they glance over their shoulder.] Is it very tangled? My hair?

I'm sure there's magic you can use that I can't. But thank you Enkidu. Truly.

[She brings out a hair brush, and starts going through their locks. Their hair is very long but..]

A bit. We may need to set up a routine of conditioning and brushing it. As for what dress to wear...

Why not a light purple? A lilac coloring? Or did you want something brighter?

You are welcome. And there certainly are things you can do that I can't. For instance, your droppings might be better suitable for fertilizing the ground than mine are.

[Enkidu has always been rather keen on hygiene. The idea of their skin showing mold still brings shivers down their spine.]

Is it very dirty? [Or...] Is there mold in it?

I can't say I've considered using my leavings as fertilizer.

[She'd rather not try, for all her voice is wry. But the idea of mold...she made a soft noise, running their hair against her fingers.]

Not particularly no. There's no mold either. You can use my shower if you're not sure.

[enkidoh]

Of course. It would be a waste to leave them in the toilet.

[This is absolutely a ridiculous conversation to have. Yet, here they are, talking about each other's poop.]

Do you have a bath? [They move to look at her.] Perhaps I can take a bath after we went out. For now I will trust your judgement. [Still, they pull a face.] I absolutely dislike mold. The idea it is on my body...I need to rinse it off as soon as possible.

I'm not going to collect my waste for garden matter, nor yours. They have some fertilizer that would be far richer then what I could produce.

[Which may be still monster made but still, STILL.]

Yes, I have a bath. There's a few baths and showers in the house, thanks to it being a mansion.

[Gently, she tweaks Enkidu's ear.]

Do you want to wash up now? That way, you can rinse it off now, and I can help you into your clothing once you dry off.

[Or they can stay nude while she brushes their hair. She's not bothered by anyone's nudity after all.]

[enkidoh]

You can scoop it out of the toilet and keep it in a bucket.

[It's just poop.]

Ah...very well. [Just in case. The idea of mold in their hair makes their skin crawl. Clay or not, they cannot stand mold.] Will you come with me. You can wash my back.

[Enkidu moves to stand and combs their hair over their shoulder. It is a little bit long but the color hasn't changed. Still green and quite shiny.]

I look forward to doing this. I have never wore a dress. I think it will suit me well.

Why not just put the bucket in the toilet? Other then well. The smell?

[She's not going to do it Enks.]

I'll wash your back, and help you with your hair if you need it.

[She moves to stand with them, and offers them a small smile.]

It'd be nice to get you out of this tunic. While you'd look beautiful in anything, I think you'd look better in something more well fitted.

The smell will fade when its processed.

[Enkidu fails to see the problem.]

I would like that. It is difficult to reach my back sometimes. [They chuckle softly.] I do not truly care for clothes so for me these are good enough. I do have more fitting clothes but I do not wear them when I am taking care of the plants. But please feel free to dress me up. I like that.

[After that they follow her to one of the bathrooms, humming a soft song.]

But there's already processed fertilizer. It's quicker then processing myself, and there's an animal on sight that might try to eat it.

[She's trying. Trying.]

That's why it's always better for someone to wash it. So-I'll wash your back. Maybe I'll start dressing you up more, if only for you and for me.

[With a hum, she takes him to the largest one-her own- which has a giant tub. Which she starts up, mixing hot and cold water so it'll be just right.]

...we could do it for Gilgamesh too, but only to tease him. We can send him pictures of you wearing more revealing clothing, only for you to go and see him in your usual.

It'd be fun to see him flustered.

[enkidoh]

[Enkidu chuckles.]

I do not mind to try on different clothes but please do not think of me as a doll.

[The chuckle changes into a full out laugh. Still soft but very amused.]

I can tell you that it isn't easy to leave Gil flustered. If I would send him such pictures he will appear in front of me with a certain need between his legs. He is quite potent.

[And here they are talking about Gilgamesh's dick.]

[She makes a rude noise, even as she moves to get a variety of soaps and shampoos.]

Having been dressed like one before, I'm likely the last person who would think of you as a doll.

[The cooing, the treatment. She hated it. Though Gilgamesh being Gilgamesh...does have her offer the barest eyeroll in Enkidu's direction.]

I'm sure he is. And you're not very good in making him work for it, I assume. You're just as potent when it comes to him.
