Mareuer catch-all
Who: Irhya and YOU!
When: Throughout Mareuer
Where: Aefenglom + Dorchacht + House Darkness
What: A couple open prompts, and a semi-open one
Warnings: Based on the nature of prompt number 1, could get a little PG-13 with sexy talk. Will update if anything happens.
1) Open to housemates + anyone who'd have reason to be in their house
[On the kitchen table, there is a bottle of aphrodisiac. It's easy to tell what it is based on both the flowery scent of the liquid (assuming they don't mistake it for perfume) and the note attached to it.
"Have fun with this. Put it in your drink. PS: Van and Sora do not touch."
She's watching from the top of the stairs, though, just to make sure no one who shouldn't be near it gets their hands on it... and perhaps to watch the hilarity once they figure out what it is. Just to see if anyone will use it anyway.]
2A) OTA
[Rugby seems all well and good, but looking at her competition, Irhya suspects she hasn't the body mass to compete with a good portion of the population signing up for it. So she opts for football instead, finding kicking the ball around easier as she learns how to control it over time. Eventually, she decides to join a team game... and it turns out when she's not lugging a sword around, she's fast, even without her vampire enhancements. Once she's figured out how to dribble, it's a matter of time before she encroaches on the other team's goal.
She shoots, and... does she score?! Are you the goalie, or an onlooker, or a teammate? Something else entirely?]
2B) OTA
[A little later, she finds she can't resist the siren call of rugby after all, and organizes a team game for smaller monsters only, setting a weight range on the lower end of the scale so that even tiny people like her can still play and have a fair shot at a fun game. She's not weighing people, but she is evaluating everyone who comes to sign up, checking to make sure they're of average or a little less than average body mass. It may seem a bit selective, but it's drawing a decent amount of people who otherwise might not participate due to their size.
If you're intimidated by the physicality of the sport because you haven't the weight to throw around, fret not! Come play with her!]
3) OTA
[...But when the mind control spell sparks off, Irhya drops to her knees and looks pained, gripping her head as she struggles to fight off the intrusion. It would be a hell of a lot easier if she still had the Blessing, but without it...
No. She doesn't need it to rid herself of this. If she just focuses, then surely...
There's a rugby ball in her hands; she chucks it haphazardly in front of her, ducking low to the ground, unsure if she's hit anybody but in no position to double check.]
Get out of my head!!
[It seems she's not the only one, either, for a number of others, Monster and human, still wearing the sashes have dropped and are rising up again with a vacant look in their eyes. The next person to approach her is going to get jumped, quite brutally -- she tackles them to the ground, baring her fangs as if looking to bite.]
4) OTA
[Back in Aefenglom, Irhya is weaving flower crowns, stems delicately tied together in patterns of various colors. Little Ladies' Day back in Eorzea preferred daisies, she thinks, but she's working with what she can get here, in no position to be picky. She's dropping them on the heads of various passersby as she finishes each one, regardless of gender, patting their shoulder with a compliment, and sending them along their way.
The next one just so happens to drop on your head.]
You look like you could use one, yeah?

APHRO BOTTLE HILARITY
...wait, is there a reason why those two can't touch this?
[Have fun? While a Warrior will put anything in their mouth, Mira can't help but open it up and take a sniff. And by the look on her face, it's strong.]
Sweet Fury, that is potent!
no subject
That's why you mix it with food or drink, silly.
no subject
What is it supposed to do?
[It has to be hard liquor.]
no subject
[She lifts the potion up and sniffs it again, making a face; yeah, it's just as strong as before. Hopefully the taste isn't that noticeable, though it's supposed to be potent enough in small amounts for a reason...]
You remember that job listing at the specialist potion shop? I decided to try it out.
[But she's too nervous to use it on herself without a prior... arrangement in place. So perhaps this really is the better alternative. Her eyes slide away with no small amount of embarrassment suddenly as it dawns on her just how stupid an idea this all was.]
...I was thinking maybe you could use it with Emet-Selch.
no subject
I'm not sure why we both would use-
[And then she stops in mid phrase, to think carefully about those words. What would connect the two and this small bottle? The only thing she can think of is...]
I may have not noticed what kind of potions that shop deals with. What was it again?
no subject
[She scrubs her face. Maybe she should've just come out with it from the start...]
I don't know. Stupid idea, right? I guess it seemed like a good idea at the time.
no subject
And it also possibly confirms that she may have heard her. How to explain that one?]
W-Wait, did you...know?
[Ok so it wasn't a secret but Mira isn't the type to broadcast it.]
no subject
[She shrugs, as if it's no big deal.]
Don't worry about it. That's just why I figured it might be good to... you know. If you want.
no subject
[She thought those emotions were sent only to the one meant for them, not to everyone she is Bonded to. If that was the case, what else did she feel?]
But why would you offer this up?
no subject
[She raises her hands and smiles nervously; Irhya has never been a particularly good liar.]
Well, I guess I just figured you'd have a better use for it than I would. You can even use me as an excuse, right? Say I insisted when he inevitably objects. Just have some fun with it, yeah?
no subject
[It's such a simple question but there is weight to it. And Mira hates seeing a friend feel uncomfortable.]
You care about him too.
no subject
[She doesn't finish that statement, at a loss for words. Instead, her eyes drop down to the bottle on the table. Maybe it was a bad idea after all...]
He definitely likes you more, and I'm saying that out of observation. But I'm not one to fight over such things, not with another person I care about, so I thought helping might be the next best thing.
no subject
[There didn't seem to be any kind of arguing or bickering over this; actually she remembers Irhya being upfront with how she would feed from people, including Emet. Did something happen other than her observation?]
This may sound odd but...have you talked with him about how you feel?
no subject
[But maybe now's as good a time as ever. She puts a hand on the back of one of the kitchen chairs.]
I know I feel similarly to you about him. That's why I think it's better that I leave it be. It'd get a little complicated otherwise.
no subject
[Now this might be weird to hear but for Mira, courting and love for her is a whole new experience. She only knows what is written in romance novels and even those don't explain how to deal with multiple people having feelings over one other. Or rather the rival being utterly detestable just to make the reader route for the heroine. But this is not a novel.
All Mira can do is go on instinct.]
This whole feeling is still very new to me so I can only go by my gut feeling. I don't know how to act or how to handle such a thing so I don't have much going. But perhaps you should speak to Hades on this. To tell him how you feel.
no subject
[Her ears fold back.]
Honestly, he'll probably think the whole thing is ridiculous to begin with. Not exactly helpful.

He has the weight of personality, though, and he's been putting it to good use in cheerleading for some of the other games. So when he notices a group of noticeably smaller monsters getting together, presumably to start a game of their own, he drifts their way.]
Hi! Is this an official game, or...?
no subject
[She grins and waves a hand, quite proud of the gathering she's got. It's no wonder the less bulky monsters want to have a game of their own without getting plowed over by everyone else, as far as she's concerned.]
I can imagine, looking at you, that you're probably in the same boat as me. You want in? We've got a decent pick of positions left, and a few still undecided.
no subject
Wait, what? As a player??
[He points at himself to emphasize the question, glancing briefly at the crowd. They do all look smaller and slighter, if not quite as spindly as a skeleton...]
But. I'm a cheerleader! I came over to cheer for you all.
no subject
[She blinks once, then grins anew.]
No problem, then! Though I think you could play if you really wanted to. Unless you're concerned about injury or fragility, in which case I suppose I can understand.
[Even so, she seems pretty delighted at the prospect of having a cheerleader, since it was one thing she hadn't been anticipating based on the size of the game.]
Sports do tend to be a little tougher to manage when you're not well-built, huh? Especially this one.
no subject
[He's boasting a little, but it's rooted in sincerity. He'd always been athletic and particularly tough for a monster, and his new durability is one of the upsides of being a turnskin.]
But, tackling... I'm usually the one tackled. Unless I take them by surprise.
[Monster strength against monster strength, he's just too lightweight.]
omg I missed this notif, I'm sorry
[She still looks pretty speculative, though... and that grin doesn't seem to be fading.]
Well, if you're sure, I'd love to have a cheerleader for the game, too. Perhaps some of the other cheerleaders would be interested in accompanying you? Or are you working solo today?
no worries! within a week is reasonable - especially all things considered
[He glances back whence he came, where the occasional brightly colored person have been moving about on the edges of other games, ribbons streaming with their movements. The cheerleaders had put a lot of energy with pom poms and acrobatic routines together earlier... But it would be challenging for him to pull any of the other Mirrorbound out of his pocket. Presumably, they're busy cheering for other games, taking breaks, or getting caught up in other parts of the activities.]
But! Papyrus is more than cheerleader enough! And, maybe, if anyone gets benched...
[Almost shyly, as much as the word ever applies to him.]
I could join in then. Better a skeleton than losing for a technicality!
[Are these games even that rigorous about their rules?]
no subject
That's very kind of you. And you're certainly right about that. The team forming on the other side seems to have some fast hitters... but I'd like to think I can pack a punch just as well as I can take one. So it's time to put that vampire strength to work for once.
[She rubs the knuckles of her right hand, exuding confidence.]
Papyrus, then? My name's Irhya. Please accept my gratitude for your time.
no subject
[Maybe that's not the turn of phrase, but it is now. Papyrus all but sparkles with enthusiasm and acknowledgement of his kindness.]
I'll be on the sidelines, cheering you all on! Cheering your team a little more.
[Is he supposed to be cheering for one team, specifically, or just cheering for the games existing..? The rules for cheerleading were a little vague and haphazard, and the instructions were more focused on the requisite cute outfits.]
