More embarrassing for me or more embarrassing for you?
[Sora goes with, eager to see how this will all unfold. Even if he's been through this twice before already it's still such an awesome thing to see these halls. They're really magnificent.
They're told to takes a seat across from each other on one of the main areas and Sora nods and does as he's instructed. And then they'll be told to join hands.]
[Riku doesn't response for a moment, pretending to be thinking about it.]
Both. Definitely both.
[He takes his seat when instructed to do so, a lingering flutter of nervousness in his stomach. When they're told to join hands he immediately holds his own out towards Sora.]
[Sora gives Riku a knowing and reassuring smile. When they join hands there's a moment where the hall reacts to them. A sort of magical energy starts to whip up around them which makes them feel a particular static-y tingle where their hands touch.
This is the feeling of their magical signatures starting to introduce to each other. Sora can feel a gentle snap of magic from Riku's dormant energies. Since he's a new witch Sora assumes it won't be too strong yet.
Nonetheless, it seems that a gentle flicker of silvery magic starts to form and float around their hands. Like little specks of silver fireflies or stars.]
Silver? [Sora chuckles.] Kairi's bond was yellow.
[Once the bond starts to introduce that's when Sora nods.]
[He gives a small jerk in surprise when the magical energy begins to form between them, a sharp tingle running through his hands where his hands met Sora's. It didn't hurt exactly but it definitely felt strange.
The flicker of silver above their heads draws his eyes up, but he's not sure what he's looking at until Sora speaks.]
[Sora tilts his head as the little sparks of silver magic start to float around and he seems to shrug. But he's enamoured with the sight anyway.]
I dunno, I guess every bond looks a little different?
[But then Sora nods and he looks back at Riku with a more focused expression and a warm smile.]
We've been friends for all our lives so I'm not sure there's more that I can say that I haven't said before.
But there's something about our friendship that's always been strong, through everything, even if it was hard or it was good. It seems like no matter what happens we can always find each other and we are always there to lead each other out of trouble.
[Sora's vow starts and the trickle of magic around there hands starts to get stronger as the bond begins.]
It's always been you that's helped me stay at my best. When I felt like the entire world was falling down around me it was always you that helped pushed me forward and keep going. I feel like I can't say thanks enough for that.
So let my bond with you be thanks for always believing in me. I want to keep being there for you through all of our adventures. And though the changes we go through in this world too. I want to protect you like you protect me.
[The bond pulsates. Now Riku will have to finish it.]
[Riku barely feels the magic trickling between them as the magic of the bond grows stronger with Sora's words. He's too distracted by what he's hearing. While much of it is things he's heard from Sora before, he can't seem to help feeling a little choked up.
Not that he's going to let his friend know that. When he speaks, it's past the lump in his throat.]
It feels like we've been together forever. And we basically have. I don't have many memories that don't include you right by my side. Even when we're off on our own adventures, I've always felt like you were right besides me. Like I could just call out for you and you would appear. [He chuckles.] And you kind of did back when I was sighting Aqua.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it hasn't always been me saving and protecting you. You've saved me too. Whenever I've needed it the most. Our friendship gives me strength I doubt I would have on my own. It's a bond between us that will never break. I want this bond to be the same. Something that makes us strong even when we feel like we're at our weakest. A reminder that I'm always by your side.
[Even if Riku and Sora have come to terms with these sorts of things with each other in the past there's still something about it all that makes Sora's cheeks warm with a blush. He looks down with a flustered expression and a happy smile as he nods.
The magic is fairly simple after that. It coils around their hands with silvery streams of stars before the bond connects the two of them. There will be a tingle of magic before they'll be able to feel each other's presence stronger than before. Like a part of Sora's soul is with Riku and vice versa.
It makes Sora's breath catch a little before he smiles up at Riku again.]
