[Sora frowns softly. He still remembers how Roxas has growled at him. How much that scared him! But! This is a really sweet gesture and there's no way he wants Roxas to continue to feel bad for it. He reaches out gently for the basket of flowers in acceptance of the apology.]
But it wasn't really your fault either, right? You said you weren't feeling well too. And maybe you were just being ... uh... territorial?
[Dogs do that, right?]

Yeah. I talked to Ven and Aqua about it. It's probably due to the changes we're getting each month. I guess being... territorial was part of that.
[It's weird to think about, honestly. Even though he's more relaxed, he does shift a little uncomfortably.]
I'm going to try and be better with this. I don't want to be... well, like a wild dog, you know?
[He can't help but echo the term Vanitas used before. But what other term could he use, other than a monster?]

[Poor Roxas, he took this pretty hard. Sora's ears droop and he moves to reach out and put a hand on top of Roxas' head.]
I know we're all going through a lot right now. And... I am too, trust me. [He knows this was one of the things that Roxas nipped at him about.] Things hurt all the time and our bodies are changing really fast... It's nothing like the other worlds.
[His fingers ruffle gently at Roxas' hair.]
But you'd never be a bad dog. We just gotta be careful and work things out. I know that and I know I gotta get used to my own nerves too. We're gonna be okay.

[After snapping at Sora, and feeling angry enough to want to snap at him, Sora was still thinking he wasn't bad? And was vehemently against the idea of him being a wild dog? That makes a small smile form on his face.]
Yeah, I... I'm glad. Thanks, Sora.
[Sora's words help ease the tension a lot more than Roxas thought. His tail slowly sways; not quite a wag, but no longer tucked between his legs.]
You're right. It's nothing like other worlds, but... we're gonna be okay, right?
[He asks the question partially to hear that reaffirmation from Sora, and partly to reassure himself.]
And... I'm sorry I said you weren't feeling any of this. I wasn't thinking straight. I'll watch my moods around the full moon from now on.

[Even if they're separated and Roxas is whole he'll always be Sora's other half. They could fight a million times and Sora would still care for him. Just like right now, moving to pull Roxas into a hug, despite still holding the basket of sweet smelling flowers.]
Maybe as least ease up on the growling or something! I dunno what it was but it got me really worked up.
[Because he's a rabbit. This prey animal was very scared.
Sora lets go and then immediately takes a blooming flower and stuff it in his mouth.]
But I forgive you for that. These are great. [Nom nom.]

[Now that he thinks about it, he noticed that he'd been growling a lot lately! He'll definitely work on it. He should be growling at people who try to hurt his friends, not at his friends.]
[He pulls away when Sora does, and makes a small face when Sora puts that flower in his mouth.]

With the done Sora goes about chewing on his delicious gifted flower.]
They do! It's kinda sweet like candy. Want to try one?

[Hard to imagine flowers tasting like candy... but Roxas can't help but be curious. He frowns at the flower, one ear flicking before lightly shrugging. Ienzo had given him some pickled trout and it had tasted alright despite the weird look, after all. Maybe a flower would be the same/.]

[After a couple seconds of chewing, Roxas makes a face and spits it out into his hand.]

[Don't spit out his precious flower gift like that! Sora looks mildly horrified.]

[Oh no, that horrified look has Roxas's ears lowering again.]

Awww. It's okay. Maybe it's because you're a puppy.
[He tugs one more flower out, a blue hyacinth, and nibbles on a petal.]
The blue ones are nice, though. It really is like eating candy to me. They're so sweet and fresh.

[He pouts a bit at that, but he doesn't stay mad for long. He watches Sora eat another petal, studying him curiously.]
That's so weird... Maybe it's because you're a rabbit.
[He pauses, before plucking one of the blue petals and sampling it.]
[It's... still kind of earthy, but not as bitter as the other one. He makes a small face, but keeps chewing it.]
The blue ones are... okay. [He guesses.]

[Don't try to turn it around on him like that, Roxas! Sora laughs a bit and finishes his petal.]
But if you don't like them that much, that's okay. They're really nice flowers so thanks for getting them for me. Sorry If I eat them all before tomorrow.

Haha! You're the best, Roxas! You're gonna have to tell me what sort of snacks you like now, though! Has anything like that changed for you? What you like to eat?

Well, not really, though I've avoided chocolate after what happened with Ven. But I've been able to eat ice cream like normal, and... well, Ienzo let me have pickled trout, which wasn't too bad.
I'm still figuring out what foods I like, so I've been trying a little of everything.

[Sora usually likes seafood on the best of days but pickled? That sounds terrible and weird.]
I'm sorry about making you something that was chocolate before! I had no idea food would affect any of us that much. I bet you'd like a lot of meat things now.
