Alucard, March catch-all [open]
Who: Alucard + ????????
When: Throughout the month
Where: Garden class, caves, and around Aef itself.
What: March catch all for activities and adventures
Warnings: Added as needed
Garden classes, start of the month
[Gardening feels like something safe to begin with. Not that plants can't go terribly wrong in so many ways, but because it's so connected with earth and the physical. Getting over the brand of witch has taken far too long. This is a solid place to start.
Today's focus on growing through magical means rather than mundane ones is honestly enjoyable. Alucard's sat with a small spreadsheet he's made himself, walking through various growth rates on daises with spells.
Daises he's run out of, because of course. His eyes move around, and there's a frown suddenly on his face.]
We're entirely out of experimental plants for the day? Or are we meant to reset any we're working with as not to cause additional waste?
Northern Outpost, middle of the month
You're in my light, I'm afraid.
[Alucard knows it sounds rude. Pretentious even for himself, but the act of copying the cave art that is embedded in the cliff face demands exacting light so that the details can be just right, and all without ruining the art long term by light damage.
It's a nice thing to do, to sit in the cave and reproduce section after section. Moreover, he's good at it, the current chunk of painting coming along quite well.]
Or if you could just move off to the right a little, please?
[He isn't that particular.]
Here, there, and everywhere else within Aefenglom
[While he isn't around at all during the full moon - there is a vigil to sit, and a fully vampired Trevor to help through the first day of the worst of all of this - Alucard makes a point to get out of the house at least once a day.
Mostly that means finding a spot in a park or at one of the bars to people watch, doing precious little else. He's been better at people lately, but this entire world? After everything it's thrown himself and the other two into? That demands holding everything at arm's length.]
Wildcard
You know the deal

Closed to Sypha
They all have their comings and goings. Trevor's are only at night now. Alucard's finally gotten himself working on at least a little magic, what with the plant based classes on offer right now, and he goes to that new outpost too. They need draftsman to render cave paintings on paper. Alucard can do that. Damn well, if he does say so himself, given how good he was as designing his entire crypt under Gresit.
He works on an actual house for the three of them when there's time. It's nearly done - the basement level is an entire set of living quarters for Trevor with no windows at all. Safe but not a tomb. The bedroom perhaps larger than it needs to be. There's individual rooms for the other two on the second floor, mostly for putting things.
It's the first floor that's the question. Kitchen. Library. Living room? Maybe. He isn't sure what else is truly needed at this point, and that's what he's working on this evening, hunched over a large sheet of paper and tapping his pencil against the floor with mild irritation.]

Crossing the room, she smiles down at him.]
...Alucard. I want to bond with you.
[Yep. Just like that. She has decided.]
no subject
Well I appreciate your making a decision without discussing it with me first, but humor me: can we discuss this thing you've settled on?
no subject
[She knows he won't if she presses though.]
But yes, of course.
[She settles down in another chair, watching him with a blank expression.]
Do you have misgivings?
no subject
Not misgivings, but I think that there is wisdom in clarity here. Or at least delineation, given circumstances.
no subject
[She leans forward, looking right into his eyes, focused.]
What sort of delineation?
no subject
[It's probably too insistent, which is why he does try to clarify.]
I am obviously bad at dealing with these things, which is why it's probably worth talking about first.
no subject
[She knows that.]
I told him I felt the same way about him.
[And, because this is Sypha, and she doesn't really beat around the bush:]
And now I'm telling you I love you. So. Realistically? Unless you don't feel that way about me, we're all in love with one another.
no subject
[He remembers the schedules. Afternoon to evening hours, going to bed at 1 or two in the morning, sometimes later.]
The timing with days growing long is going to be a frustration. I remember that.
[He was too young to understand why summer meant he had to wait so long to see his father. There were tears about it some days.
Memories for later. Alucard breathes out.]
For you, what does this bond signify?
no subject
[Her heart does pitter-patter a bit when he admits his affection. She knew it, deep down, but it's still nice to hear.]
The bond signifies a connection to someone who matters deeply to me.
[She shifts in her seat, moving to the edge just to be nearer.]
I want to have the same ties to you that I have to him. I...like...feeling him in the back of my mind, knowing he's alright, knowing where he's at. I would like to have the same with you.
no subject
Very important. When he and Trevor agreed to bond, it was all practicality, bundled up in how much they both knew she'd want them to look after each other. Alucard and Trevor trusted each other, but they couldn't emote. They struggled so much. Alucard knows he failed several times over. This though? This is an expression of feeling first, and that makes a huge difference in his estimation.
Alucard offers Sypha his hand.]
Then you'll have it.
no subject
I'm glad. Not that I doubted you'd give in. But...glad, all the same. Because you both mean the world to me, and I don't want to have him in a way I can't have you.
no subject
I'm agreeing, not giving in.
no subject
[She sighs sweetly, leaning forward as her own cheeks turn pink.]
You missed, Alucard.
no subject
[He doesn't miss this time. The angle's better, Sypha's closer, and his lips catch hers. There's a sheer joy in the action, and it means he moves closer. Wraps his arms around Sypha's waist from his angle still on the floor, so, so pleased to hold onto her like this.
It's not a first kiss. But it's a hell of a second.]

Natural instinct also includes know when to break for things like air, and Alucard does pull away with a smile on his face.]
I'm satisfied with the discussion.
no subject
[Sypha's expression turns a little catlike, a quirk of her lip, a flicker of mischief in her eye...]
What if I told you I wanted more from this discussion?
no subject
[He pauses, then adds rather cheerfully:]
Please.
no subject
[She grins, hopping up.]
Lead on.
no subject
I wasn't going to go very far you know. Just to the sofa.
[The sofa that is a whole three feet away from the chair. A very long journey.]
And then lie down on it so you could make yourself comfortable.
no subject
[She waves dramatically at it, but also starts moving towards the couch too, pretending to stagger, playfully.]
But the reward is well worth it. Please...do continue.
no subject
Come along, I can't loaf all day.
no subject
[Sypha flops into his arms, of course. Always and forever happy to be there.]
