A Mareuer Catch all
Who: Caren and co
When: Throughout March
Where: In Aef and Dor
What: Many quests, some rests, and
Warnings:
QUESTS
A) L'Amourtentia (NSFW possible!)
A sample...huh.
[She stared at the bottle in her hand. Here she thought that brewing would be enough, but Kiss from a Rose was promoting this...she knew that it was a thing, but still. Still, she had no idea what to do with this. Maybe it'd be funny if she spiked someone drink with it? Or would it be a not good prank? She had no idea.
Hearing someone come close, her head came up and her ears twitched.]
Mm?
B) Research Request
[Every so often she did a slow tour, just to see how things were going. Which meant...going to various libraries and shops in the city, and going up to the help desk, and talking quietly to whoever was there. She couldn't just butt in, thinking that they were doing something for her.
But she did look around. Eye contact? Could certainly happen!]
C) Sweet Chimera
[She had been hoping things would go well here. But...she wasn't sure. She was basically inviting a bunch of unknowns into what had been a personal project of hers. Still...she had to let go of some things sometime.
So while she was cloaked-covering up some of her more obvious injuries on her back-her gaze was alert, and she went over with a slight wave to catch their attention.]
Good day. Everything is going well so far?
[Nothing exploded? Please don't make anything explode.]
D) Desmodus Mori
[Thank goodness for the vampire bar. She had no idea if she was doing this right, if she should have gone to the Coven with it but...she knew vampires, and she wanted to make sure this was doing this right.
She slid in during the evenings, and at the bar she ordered a small drink, sipping it. Waiting to see what may arise, with or without her meddling.]
E) Continuing Conquests
[She needed to take it easier then she would have liked-mostly because she wasn't used to the hard labor. But she could and would be a good guard for those that were building their outposts.
Hearing footsteps, her ears twitched, and she glanced to the side, where she heard it.]
Hello?
[Are you coming to try and give her a reason to use her sword??? because her hand is on it!]
Aefenglom
B: Clothing Alteration
[She didn't work as many hours as she used to in Knit Wit, but she still went in on a semi regular basis, mending and altering, not seemingly having any trouble with the needle and thread. When she heard the bell tinkle above the door, her ears twitched forward, and she moved to come to the front, more curious then weary.]
Welcome to Knit Wit. What can I assist you with?
Wildcard
Aka hit me with whatever! But if you want to know of her usual to find spots:
-Outside tending her garden at the Monster mansion
-In the market, looking for meal things and Prim/sphnix treats
- At a cafe, people watching
-On the roofs (I'm serious, it's a chimera thing)
-Inside her home
If you want to plot, you can find me at

[She nods. It'll just have to be a matter of what Arthur chooses first then.]
Not to mention, they cannot be maintained with mana. How many pieces of clothing would you like to pay for?
Or...if you know how to mend...you could work here. That's how I received many of my first clothes.
no subject
[ She has what she came in and a few other odds and ends she's picked up. ]
I know the basics of sewing, so I can at least patch things. Beyond that, my knowledge of clothing is limited.
no subject
[She's going to be fair! But that...she made a soft noise.]
We always need menders. I, or other employees, could teach you more if you want a part time job here. It's quiet, and the hours are varied.
[Also unlikely Gilgamesh would set foot in here, that's something.]
no subject
[ She smiles, just a little, at her own joke. ]
So I suppose I will accept, if you will have me.
no subject
[Caren smiles back. She's done a good deed today. Two good deeds, so she can be a gremlin for the rest of the week!]
Of course. Just let me know when you want to start and your schedule, and I'll tell the owner. In the meantime- why don't you try more things on, see what you want to work towards?
no subject
[ She was a squire, once. The thought summons up a slightly fond smile and then she comes back to the present. ]
I can start when ever you have need of me. My time is mostly my own, here. And... yes. I'll look around.
[ Time to see what else there is. ]
no subject
[She gestured to the racks, the clothing she'd laid out as well as the coffee table.]
I'll be back in a moment. Everything on the floor-help yourself.
[Saber can marvel at the Fae and Dragon samples they have, among other things.]
no subject
She pulls a dress off of the rack that's (mostly) backless to accommodate someone with wings. She's examining it when Caren gets back. ]
no subject
Thankfully, Caren is a quick writer, and when she comes out, she makes a soft noise at what Saber has in hand.]
Ah, I see you found the winged section. What do you think?
no subject
[ She's reasonably sure she's turning into something more landbound. Tails and stuff. ]
It seems to expose quite a bit of skin.
no subject
[She offers a small smile (maybe smirk). And her tail twitches, showing her amusement.]
Sometimes, it feels more comfortable to have the back entirely exposed. And, too, depending on how the wings are positioned, you may never realized how much skin is underneath.
[Sorry Saber, just a bit of light teasing.]
no subject
[ She is not fond of the idea, honestly. But she'll have to wait and see. ]
Ah, I hadn't thought of that. You're quite right...
[ If the wings are in the way, it would be sort of hard to tell. ]
It does seem a little cold at times...
no subject
And with chimeras, that can be...problematic.
[Since not all chimeras have the same weaknesses. They're inconsistent like that.
Gently she touched a finger to the rim of the backing.]
This may be for a heavily feathered harpy or chimera. Or...I believe this is one of the warmer weather designs.
Or of course-they could simply have a warming spell stitched in with help of a stitch witch.
no subject
[ She frowns and sets the dress back on the rack. ]
What would you recommend for tails? I have no idea what else might be coming. It's... difficult to predict.
no subject
[She moves over to another rack, and pulls out a pair of shorts. But when she flips it around, there's a little loop with a button on top.]
You can open it up, and then once your tail is in place, you can close it. Or there's a more sock-like opening where you can slip your tail through. The latter blends more easily, but the former can have more give.
no subject
[ Her expression flattens a little as she thinks. ]
Although the sock-like opening may not work well with the tuft...?
no subject
[You have tuft Saber, but she's got Floof normally.]
Pants or skirt?
no subject
[ She considers. ]
Let us try a skirt first. Then trousers.
no subject
Here.
[She motioned to a section of the rack with various skirts with...well, tail openings.]
The colors may not be what you like, but we can certainly sew and alter to ones that may suit you later.
no subject
[ Saber starts filtering through them carefully. She has a penchant for darker colors - dark blues, blacks, grays. Nothing flashy. Usually work-man like material. Wool or cotton and usually ankle length.
Nope, not all that exciting, is she? ]
I think these will probably do fine.
no subject
There's a folding screen over here.
[She started walking in the direction, motioning with her hand.]
Let's see how they feel, and what openings work for you.
no subject
[ Again, Saber ducks behind the screen to change. There's the rustling of cloth and the snap of catches as she begins to dress herself again. She comes out a few moments later, carefully buttoning shut the little 'latch' that closes over her tail. ]
This seems.. adequate.
no subject
But you're not in love with it, are you? There's no point in wearing it if it's not comfortable.
no subject
[ She glances over her shoulder with a slight frown. ]
I don't need to be in love with it, do I?
no subject
Comfort is also an indicator if there will be trouble with repeated wear.
It wouldn't be heroic if you gained blisters from the clasp wing wrong or rubbing persistently against your skin.
