kitchenware shop: OTA

[ lance is here staring at all the kitchenware. does he look like he's here to shop? not particularly. it looks more like...he's admiring all the silverware, actually. they're spick and span, glimmering in the light...

they're perfect. lance can't resist them. he doesn't know why, but he can't look away. the shopkeeper's hands seem tied with customers, so now is the perfect time for lance to do his thing.

lance looks from side to side, and when he thinks nobody's looking, he picks up a spoon and starts to slide it into his pants pocket. ]

[ lance needs money. and what better way to make money than to do speed dating for a second time!!! ...he's not exactly looking forward to it 100%, because he met some real weird people there, but it's a fast and easy way to make some cash to buy some necessities. and lord knows he desperately needs those.

so he's here at the brothel, trying not to blush at all the pretty ladies around -- he's here to make money. he gets paired up with someone who's also here to make some quick cash, and he leans back on his chair, taking in a deep breath. his cheeks are still pretty red, but he thinks focusing on his partner will (or will not) make things a little easier. he cracks a smile at whoever's sitting across of him. ]

clothes shopping: OTA

[ lance can also be found doing some clothes shopping. he's gotta stock up on outfits, after all -- casual ones on lazy days, stuff to wear to bed, clothes to wear on any potential dates... he managed to grab a few pieces with keith and soren, somehow, despite not having money on him -- but he's back at it again with actual currency this time.

lance finds a nice shirt that he opts to try on. he looks pretty excited about his choice, too, and he heads to the fitting room to try it on.

a few moments pass, and then suddenly, there's the sound of something tearing along with a panicked shriek from the fitting room area. ]

the worst solution ever: open to voltron house + any visitors, night of the full moon

[ so. if you were hoping to use the bathroom downstairs closest to the entrance to the voltron house, you're out of luck.

those who move closer to the bathroom will start to hear the sounds of water sloshing around accompanied by a deep, heavy sigh. the lights are on, the door is open -- seems like someone didn't care much about privacy. if anyone dares to peek in, they'll see no one other than lance himself, sitting in the tub, looking rather...frazzled. worried about something. no, he is not wearing pants, but the suds in the tub are pretty high so you wouldn't be able to tell.

when he sees someone nearby, he'll lift his head up and look at the newcomer before holding his hand out to say "stop" before they can get any closer. }

I'm not gonna say no to company, but stay right where you are and don't come any closer!

[ unless you want to see him with no pants on????????? ]

under the sea: OTA (full moon)

[ those who are near the ocean at some point during the full moon will see a shark-like tail peeking out of the water in the shallows. quickly, it goes under -- and then lance's head and shoulders pop out of the water.. his eyes have gone dark, pupils bright blue. his eyes narrow at whoever approaches, and he snarls a little, teeth sharp. he doesn't look like he's about to attack, but he certainly doesn't look happy to have company. ]

Yes. I can see the sky.

[And finally she looks down at him. Pitch black eyes reflecting only the starlight back. They narrow at him. But that's all. ]

Oookay.

[ he looks up at her with black eyes himself, though he has blue pupils that shine underneath the moonlight. he squints at her a little. ]

Is staring at the sky just one of your new traits or something?

[stopfen]

[Squinting match- Nah, she breaks off to look back up.]

There's two moons here. It's interesting.

[She just wanted to be out side. Out in the night, where the creatures that hid from humans thrived.]

I guess you're right.

[ it'd be the first planet he's seen with two moons like this. ]

Yeah, now that you mention it, I guess it is kinda cool.

[stopfen]

[There was something about the light. She just couldn't place it. It made her want to move, made her restless, like there was nothing holding her down. But there was, her body was too heavy to drift in the air. Not without her gear, but she couldn't use that. All she could do was stay grounded. Literally. ]

I thought you'd travelled a lot?.. Have you seen places like this before?

I have, but I've never seen two moons like this before. Moons that are kinda just...together.

[ he looks at her for a moment before he swims closer. the tip of his tail can be seen from the water. ]

Unrelated, but I thought I'd be more monster-y when the full moon came along, but I pretty much feel like myself. Except more cranky.

[stopfen]

[Wow, that's kinda disappointing. But she tilts her head, looking at the tail. Giving him a small shrug.]

You're a fish, that's different enough isn't it? [But seeing as he mentioned it.] I feel normal. Restless but normal.

[loverboi]

Well, yeah, but it's like... I was expecting to be more wild I guess? I don't know how else to describe it.

[ like. taunting people, being a little shit, etc. ]

And I'm not a fish. I'm a merrow, okay.

[stopfen]

Maybe next time, you'll lose your arms. [She's joking.


...Maybe. Maybe not. She's always been a little shit. But people didn't point that out to someone refereed to as being worth one hundred soldiers. ]

[ holy hell HE WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT. he gives her a concerned look with his beady eyes and backs up a little. ]

Nonono, nobody's losing any arms here. ... Please don't tell me I'm actually going to lose my arms.

[stopfen]

Fish and water creatures have fins...

[Just. Causally throwing that out there. Pupils expanding, making it easier to watch his response in the low light.]

[ he has his hands over his ears. obnoxiously: ]

Lalala, can't hear you over the sound of me having arms!

[stopfen]

They've said it takes several months to change, you already don't have legs.

[She doesn't smile, or raise her voice. Still just throwing it out there.

[ still covering his ears...but yeah, he heard bits and pieces of that. once it seems like she's done, he lowers his hands. ]

[She just waits, shes got all night.]

[Except when she gets flustered and vomits words everywhere.]
