[It had been a series of disorienting and inexplicable events. Being rescued by two people who had killed him, and a kid he assumed indifferent. And then healed by someone who he'd tortured (or would torture, in future, apparently). Uncomfortable didn't even begin to describe it.

Marks would always remain, especially those imperceptible to sight.

But the Ascian had noticed, from other witches he'd met and observed, that not many seemed to utilize Conjuration. Sure, he's also learned Evocation, like just about everyone, but apart from teleporting, those two fields were it. Emet-Selch preferred to specialize, rather than be mediocre in everything.]

It's similar to an ability I once had, so I was, perhaps, more attuned to its usefulness. [And he was, as ever, drawn to the familiar. It's a thought that gets a half-smile.]

And if you already have someone who can repair you, [Seeing as Mettaton was in considerably better shape than before.] with my approximation of materials, we should be able to keep you in fair form.

[As tempting as the idea of a Mettaton incapable of movement and/or speech was, it was probably better to keep him in decent condition. --Plus, the robot had actually used his title this time, rather than that appalling shortening of it. Even if it wouldn't last, it was a moment of favor towards him.

And, well... with no longer being able to change hosts himself, the Ascian can sympathize a little with the concern of being trapped in a non-functional body. It wasn't something he'd wish on most people.]
