[Iskandar nods to the request but he has no intention of following it. He does put Cú Chulainn on what he believes is a bench near a well. But he does so only to retrieve a spare roll of bandages. He doesn't plan to use them for their intended purposes. That's not nearly enough and he'd need to wrap the Celt head to toe in them like one of those mummies he saw in Egypt for it to have any effect. No, he plans to use them as a washing cloth.
Surely, the blacksmith won't deny them water.]

Good. Then I shall look for him when I'm finished here.

[It takes an enormous amount of stubborn willpower not to drop everything and run now but Iskandar has also his pride, not only his heart, at stake here. And his pride would take a deadly blow if he let this man before him bleed to death.
So he hauls a bucket of water from the well, promising a slow and painful death to all that dared to lay a finger on his boy, but still proceeding with his plan. Which involves washing away all the dried blood, mud and gods only know whatever is there from Caster's skin so he could close the open wounds, if only temporarily, so the man won't faint from blood loss when he goes to speak to that blacksmith.]

First, you need to be able to stand on your own. You're not exactly conversational right yet.

[Iskandar is still impressed Cú hasn't dropped from the shock just yet. Woe to those who underestimate him, for he is way stronger than he looks. Ha! One day he's going to ask him for sparring. But for day to happen that one crazy Celt needs to survive and Iskandar will make sure that he does.]
