[Somebody protesting the usefulness of divination has Henry twisting his upper body around to get a good look at the fellow who'd say such a thing, and he's hardly surprised by what he sees: a serious, scary-looking Witch. It gets a mirthless laugh out of him — his usual laugh, accompanied by a smile. Before him, a number of scrying instruments are in the process of playing musical chairs as he tries to get them in the proper arrangement.]

Not a fan of seeing the ever-changing future, huh? It's an abstract discipline, all right. You go through all this time and effort to predict someone's ghastly future, and then they do everything in their power to ruin your prediction... It's a thankless job, divination.

[Henry twists the rest of his body around and sits cross-legged in the center of the room, the medicinal scent of the basement faint but still lingering familiar to Henry's nose. He shakes his head.]

Nope, I'm doing this because I've been in this room before. Can't remember all the details. So I'm holding an interrogation, only I'm both strapped to the chair AND administering the shocks.
