this is great, thanks!!

[ With a new world comes much to learn, and he's not surprised to find this one embroiled in turmoil of its own. The threat of the Cwyld is more overt and pressing than any of the issues faced back at home—sure, criminals and corruption were featured on the news often, but it's nothing compared to the danger of a magical plague that has to be kept at bay with the massive wall that they've erected around the city.

It's not something he's equipped to deal with the way he is with crime (although, is that even the case anymore, without the Metaverse?), but Akira, being Akira, finds himself offering to assist those beyond the wall. There are some things he can do—like administering medicine, his current task. He's no doctor, but he's patched up enough wounds and popped enough pills that this is simple work.

He's momentarily struck by the sickly smell in the air upon entering the infirmary. It's more concentrated than out in the streets of the Outer City, noticeable even through the mask. But before he can take in much more than that, a voice is catching Akira's attention, and he finds its owner sitting alongside a bed near the door. ]

Ah... here to help, actually. [ The bag of medication is lifted into sight as a means of explanation.

And, well, this seems like a good enough place to start. He approaches the patient's bedside, opposite the woman clasping his hand, and lets his eyes linger on the black marks that mar the skin of his forearm. ]
