The shop keep appears to be shocked at himself, Justine and Iramaat but everything is quickly settled. He retreats behind the counter as if the few inches of wood would protect him from the intensity of his customers. His head bobs a few times in a nervous goodbye as he sets to making a note of the purchase, allowing them to step back into the streets.
Justine follows only to pause a few steps from the shop.] I can't repay you for this, any of it. [She has very little that she can offer Iramaat.] I can give you myself but even that... [It feels like she's getting more out of their arrangement than Iramaat is.]
