Who: Anyone!
When: All of November.
Where: The Haven, at the "classy" grade house maintained by some people from the FFXIV cast.
What: It's mingle time. Drop by for a visit, make your own toplevel, maybe ask who that weird old guy sleeping in the yard is. (It's probably crystal grandpa.)
Warnings: Mind FFXIV spoiler warnings in threads!

[ Located past the fanciest manor houses is something a little more modest. The most prominent thing one would notice about it is the front yard, which someone obviously spends some time in, though the cutting of certain bushes is a little close to amateur. More importantly, it looks a little messy but very inviting, and there's almost always the smell of something warm and delicious coming from inside the house. The lush and flowering garden in the back has a recently-scrubbed fountain and running water, as well as a near-permanent host of small birds. Is it magic? Probably. Most of the flowers are roses, though, which are a bit hardier than your usual flowers.
The interior is just as cozy, with a fire in the hearth that's almost always going, and plenty of books loaned or purchased from shops. Furnishings are occasionally sparse but the kitchen is fully-stocked, as is the family room where most people spend their time. The dining table exists and it's nothing fancy, but there's almost always a smorgasbord of fruit and other snacks left out for visitors.
New this month are tiny sigils drawn in faintly glowing paint along the windows and doors. Teleportation wards are in place, as well as soundproofing for each bedroom (ahem), so anyone teleporting directly inside the house will find themselves repelled.
There is a spare housekey under the mat, though, if someone gets locked out. ]

[Come to think of it, this might be a form of torture. Especially when, as K’rihnn lays out the fixings, Rose stays dead silent.]
[He’s gone through a lot of trouble, and she’s grateful. Of course, she doesn’t say that. She doesn’t say anything. She eats slowly, painfully slowly, the expression on her face not changing.]
SPOILERS for Shadowbringers beware!
His hands are shaking a little as he fixes his own food. Out of nervous habit, he tries again to make conversation.]
A-ah... you... haven't seen Ser Aymeric or Raha this morning, have you, Rose...?
[He's not actually sure if they've left the house or are still around.]
ψ(`∇´)ψ
[Did Rose drive them away? Send them somewhere where they’ll never be seen again? Was the sheer force of her gaze too much for the other two?]
[Absolutely not, but it’s fun to think that way. Rose spends another few moments eating in complete silence, grateful for the peace and quiet. Why did K’rihnn seem so nervous? Was he that eager to see the Exarch?]
[On second thought, it isn’t her business, and she doesn’t particularly care. She pushes the plate forward.]
Thank you. That was delicious.
cries...
[K'rihnn doesn't know what else to say to that, so he gives up. For now, at least.
It's fine.
He'll take her empty plate and put it in the sink to soak. The distraction makes his pancakes a little browner on one side than he normally likes, but it's still very much edible. So, K'rihnn will plate his food and smile a little at the compliment. Blunt as it is.]
Th-thank you for saying so, Rose. I'll... be making a stew for lunch, if you're interested in that later...?

[Yet.]
I would be.
[She pauses. It's very nice of him to make breakfast and do the dishes. From what she can tell, K'rihnn seems rather jumpy, but it seems like he has a good heart. Which probably means he's also an idiot.]
[Mercifully, she starts speaking again. The coffee really helped wake her up.]
Do you have a lot of practice cooking?

K'rihnn looks up in slight surprise at the question, but he's quick to give her a small smile.]
Ah, yes, I do. I've always loved cooking, and eventually I joined the Culinarians's Guild in Limsa to learn more.
How about you, Rose? Were you ever interested in learning a craft?

I’ve dabbled in clothcraft, but I’m afraid I had little talent for it.
[At least it went better than the time she tried to actually learn cooking.]
