Lapis surprisingly goes along with Peridot without much fuss. She's trying her best, she really is. Also, the less she's alone to herself, the less she's alone with her thoughts, and the less she works herself up into a panic. It's not a great way of dealing with things, but it's how she's chosen to do it.
