The strange mist and now new fur coating on everything along with his strange new ears set him right. What's weird is that he wasn't the only one affected, though...so of course he hurries out to meet Diarmuid.
When he arrives at the glasshouse, he finds himself staring at his Bonded. the changes are a shock certainly, though he can't say they bother him, especially not the hair. ]

He's having to ignore the predatory instincts screaming at him loudly to hunt the handsome deer in front of him, assuming (again, wrongly) that it's only his problem and no one else is having to deal with it. ]
