Who: Diarmuid and Fionn
When: Backdated to late Auguril
Where: The Coven
What: Two knights try and do That Magical Shit.
Warnings: n/a
[Summer doesn’t appear to mean a break for anyone at the Coven. As Diarmuid approaches Fionn the halls are as busy as ever and he has to duck around a gaggle of girls- one of whom is already peering at the gold-haired Lancer- to reach him. Witches of all ages and levels of skill mill around, killing time in between classes or simply meeting up with friends under the guise of studying. All in all, it makes for a pleasant atmosphere and he’s eager to get started, greeting his lord with a warm smile and a clap on the shoulder.
Diarmuid never went to school but he’s certain this is how the first day back probably feels. That said, it's hard to picture the bearded hero he knew as Fionn mac Cumhaill ever having to learn anything; he seemed untouchable, as though he were simply born with the knowledge and ability to become a legend. Now, though? Unfounded as it might be given how little time means to Servants, but he can't help but feel more comfortable standing before this brighter, unlined version.]
It’s good to see you again, my lord. [He puts his head to the side, loose curl bobbing.] Are you well?
[It probably won’t escape Fionn’s attention that the satchel slung over his shoulder is full enough that he hasn’t been able to do up the straps on it, leaving the spine of a book on runes exposed alongside a carefully wrapped parcel. Looks like someone brought extra lunch. Slightly less obvious, however, are the bruises peeking out just over the collar of his shirt, dark enough to be fresh.
Regardless, it hasn't occurred to Diarmuid that he might notice them and, introductions out of the way, he gets straight to the point.]
I wasn't sure whether you wanted to sit in on a class or just explore.
