"Is it strong? Humans like food subtle and bland," she says, mournfully casting a blanket description over something she's had a very limited experience in. Toby eats mostly bark, and fresh bark especially would be astonishingly bitter and astringent to someone else. She enjoys tea steeped for dismaying lengths of time, and the leaves themselves.
