Hmm. That is a tale. I should think to disbelieve it. I know not of the Fae, aside from their apparent elusiveness. However, believing that which you do not understand must be dangerous or must have worked against you... that is not very diplomatic, nor very kind. [Everett drags his cigarette, having picked up some curiosity in the man's expression when he mentioned his own world some. He enjoys to share wisdom from home, experiences he's had himself or parables.]

Creature were very want to make enemies of one another, in my land. This was within the First Age, long before my time, in a sense. [he won't get into what that means...]

The Elves and the Giants were most bitterly at war. Their empires nearly ruined the world for all. For just the same reason, fighting over who should control magic. When Myddvai was nearly torn asunder, our gods arrived to set the world back into order. They looked upon a war torn land and both sides claimed the other had struck first. That is was only justified that they warred so fiercely.

And the Dragons wrought punishment upon all sides, even those that did not intervene. Because it did not matter that it started... it mattered that it did not find end.
