[open] pre-gaming, the dignitary variety
Who: Anyone invested in the Dorchacht Dilemma or planning to visit Dorchacht through the event.
When: Septeril 1st, late evening
Where: The Sly Seadog
What: Planning
Warnings: Who the eff knows
[ It was getting late in the evening, but it was crucial to meet up. Daenerys – with the help of some more technologically savvy people – offered invitations to anyone who seemed interested in the affair with Dorchacht.
They meet at the Sly Seadog: a run-down little dive of a tavern, found along a narrow back-alley in the harbour, frequented by sailors, welcoming to Monsters and humans alike. The crowd is dense for this early in the "night", but still a few drunkards pawning off their last bit of money for a little bit more booze.
It was not up to a standard she would prefer, but it's something and it's relatively quiet. Three long tables can fit enough people for their meeting – and there's some standing room at the bar. Time to get down to business, right?
Feel free to top level, make points, argue, etc. ]

For every monster collared, we have a reason to open discusses. To allow their Coven to see the choices presented to them. [ Dany wants to burn anyone who may believe such a life is worthy, but she thinks of Jorah... how he sold slaves and has yet become the one freeing them. That redemption... she wants to give this Coven that choice as well. The thoughts of flames fade from her mind and she hopes instead of broken chain links and split collars. ] It seems many of us have been slaves or seen the brutality of such a life. How we can change this — not only for morality but to connect Aefenglom and Dorchacht against a more serious, common threat: the Cwyld.
[ Why play dictator and war games when horrors wait outside your city walls...? She'll never know.
The introduction and the dog's appearance does make her a bit more tense. ]
No worries, fun later. After this excursion. Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen.

Dogmeat doesn't pay Daenerys any mind, at least at the moment; he's content to have his ears scratched, tail softly wagging. Lex doesn't comment on it, instead going back to the matter at hand. ]
The world I'm from is a wasteland. I'd rather not see anything similar happen to this one. But sometimes people in power think things like that can further their own end. If that's true here...
[ Well, she's not going to say get rid of the people in power right now, but she can think it. ]

[ There's a pointed retort, one a bit too sharper than she meant to. ]
If it is true, we must instate people into power who can do good. Who can snuff out corruption or evil. Good people do not always win against evil rulers, but it inspires something in us all.
