[open] pre-gaming, the dignitary variety
Who: Anyone invested in the Dorchacht Dilemma or planning to visit Dorchacht through the event.
When: Septeril 1st, late evening
Where: The Sly Seadog
What: Planning
Warnings: Who the eff knows
[ It was getting late in the evening, but it was crucial to meet up. Daenerys – with the help of some more technologically savvy people – offered invitations to anyone who seemed interested in the affair with Dorchacht.
They meet at the Sly Seadog: a run-down little dive of a tavern, found along a narrow back-alley in the harbour, frequented by sailors, welcoming to Monsters and humans alike. The crowd is dense for this early in the "night", but still a few drunkards pawning off their last bit of money for a little bit more booze.
It was not up to a standard she would prefer, but it's something and it's relatively quiet. Three long tables can fit enough people for their meeting – and there's some standing room at the bar. Time to get down to business, right?
Feel free to top level, make points, argue, etc. ]

Ehe, that's true. It's not like I plan to hide my information! It's more the people from my world are a team, so we have to decide together how involved we want to get in all this. I mean, we all hate what's happening in Dorchacht if the dream's true, but that doesn't mean we should act recklessly about it.
[There were a lot of factors to consider. ]
Yeah...I don't think the Coven's evil or anything. But they're a faction with their own agenda. An agenda that might not line up with the mirrorbound's. We have to remember that.

Makoto nods along with his final words, agreeing silently. He bows his head and takes another sip of his drink... which, Elliot may have noticed by now, had not given Makoto any scent of alcohol. It's just juice in a fancy glass. ]
I'm Makoto Yuuki. My friends and I who are here, we're a team, too. We call ourselves SEES. [ he offers a handshake, since he can't bow while they're sitting down. ]

Oh! You're that monster guy with the MP3 player! [Shaking his hand! HELLO MUSIC MAN] Nice to put a face to your name! And wow, what a cool team name...
[SOUNDS ALL OFFICIAL AND WHAT NOT]
I'm Elliot Craig. I'm part of Cl...[Wait] Well, I'd say Class VII, but half of us weren't from that Class so ... [Crimson Wings? But Lloyd and Randy weren't in that either. Erm] - Aha, well, we'll figure out a new name later I guess.

But, that's a minor detail. Makoto chuckles at his excitement over his MP3 player. ]
Did we speak on the network? What's your username? Sorry I always stick with text. It's what I'm used to.

Oh no it's fine, I use text a lot too. I'm Elliot with the violin, but it's alright if you don't remember. I'm used to it. [Just a side effect to being the best friend of a video game protagonist really]

[ It's coming back to him now. Elliot said there was no way to power electronics, right? But he's a witch, apparently, so maybe he can ask him to try to find a way in the future. He really does want to find a way to listen to his music. ]
Nice to finally meet you. Hopefully, next time I see you, it'll be in less stressful circumstances.
[ They've been quietly talking through the discussion this entire time. Not that Makoto really cared, for reasons already stated. ]

[He makes a wistful sigh. To know about such a wondrous technology for music only to be unable to reach it. It's truly tragic]
Haha, that'd be nice. Something tells me not to hold my breath for less stressful times to come though.
