[Paris is very, genuinely happy that Akira seems to actually want to... well, maybe be friends is a little bit of a stretch, seeing as Paris has so little experience with friendship that he doesn't know what it looks like. But Akira keeps talking to him, at least, which is a good sign he's pretty sure.
