[A lot of his amusement disappears when he sees how flustered and genuinely upset Newt really is. While there are truly some things that he doesn't understand about him, Theseus is more than aware of the fact that Newt dislikes feeling crowded, and dislikes being the center of attention. He just underestimated how much of an effect it's having on him.

So any more teasing comments immediately die out and while he's not overly worried, he does take on a more patient sort of look, replacing the merciless expression he had earlier. The time for teasing will come later on. Right now, he'll wait until Newt's ready to go, which is probably soon.

Oh, especially since some of the fashion designers are now waving at them both and pointing rather excitedly at a new outfit. Theseus smiles and waves back at them, but also elbows Newt in the side.]

...Come on, let's go. This place is getting rather stuffy, isn't it? [Better leave now before the situation becomes inescapable.] We could both benefit getting a break from all these festivities.
