If Elidibus wanted to just see Reno practice, he would have invited the harpy to join him in hitting dummies.
"Very well," the man answers. There is a half-smile on his lips as Elidibus begins to turn back to the training targets. His back is made a tempting target at that moment but it would be a grave error to fall into the trap he intends by it. The warning comes in the way his hand tightens around the shouldered axe; not to slowly lower it to a proper position, but to have a grip that will allow him to balance the weight of its swing.
The turn becomes a pivot and the axe's fall from the warrior's shoulder is meant instead for a wide, whirling swing at the Turk who had so kindly landed in range of the massive weapon. Despite the use of weight to put strength behind the blow, a trained eye will be able to tell there is tight control of every motion. Missing will not cause an over-extension.
In theory, he might be able to stop it just shy of actually hitting Reno, if the harpy really would be in danger of being caught by surprise. There is no magic behind the attack; no time and it would have been a dead giveaway at his current level of spellwork. More's the pity.
