Magic is very useful once you understand it. Of course most of what I know is healing and more fighting oriented so I'm very interested in seeing what else magic has to offer.

[She seems very pleased with this idea.]

I've never really been around so many magic users.

[ Well, at least someone was pleased. It made Keith's smile a little more natural, a little less forced. ]

I've always thrown myself head first into figuring out new things, this is just another challenge. And one I'm looking forward to tackling, for once.

So have I. It does make people think you're very reckless though.

[... She huffs a little gently.]

Well. Perhaps I am but... I don't really have the patience to wait sometimes.

Reckless, hot-headed, impulsive. Just keep adding them under my belt, that's for sure. [ He's gotten better about it, but... he's still a work in progress, and he laughs a little at her huff. ]

Patience is great for some people, but for others... well, we like to just get it over with. Get things done.

[holybeasts]

[She sits up in bed like some sort of jack in the box, gesturing at Keith now.]

Exactly! If you want something done it's just easier to do it yourself! Or at least charge in to help others do it!

[ Keith laughed as she sat up, smiling despite himself and nodding in agreement. ]

Definitely. What, do people just expect you to stand on the sidelines while they do all of the work? Especially when it could be dangerous? No way. Not if I'm around.

[holybeasts]

[Ah, so familiar. She flops back down almost dramatically.]

People are full of good intentions but honestly, it can get frustrating when they do want you to stand back.

[galrad]

I wasn't made to stand back. It's just not going to happen. [ He huffed out a laugh, before shaking his head with a sigh. ] It's... been a long day. We should probably both get some sleep.
