He doesn't mean to make light of Crowley's situation by mentioning his own like this. He isn't ignorant of the fact that being a witch presents many of its own difficulties, but he does want to argue that it isn't entirely the same.
"Yes," he agrees, "that is quite true."
His gaze flicks over Crowley. Perhaps, it would be best not to make any assumptions and simply ask him. Unfortunately, it just hardly feels easy to outright ask! What if he misunderstood what he meant or required too much clarification? Oh, how horrifying.
