[ She had some awkward, but necessary, conversations in her future. The very idea of it was making her heart feel like it was crushing a pit into her stomach. Thankfully, she was able to at least put on a fine enough face. ]

All of this has really worn me out, though... I-I should probably head back home, for the moment.
