Home is complicated for me. In some ways... this place is better.

[It's not great, of course. Having to resort to questionable methods for surviving, for one, and transforming sounds like it won't be pleasant. But it's not quite the doom he feels about his own world.]

Even if the time thing is true, and it's like we never left... it makes sense to miss what you're used to.
