[After a very turbulent last few months Sora finds himself down two very important bonds. And with Riku and Kairi have gone now, Sora is struggling just a little bit with that hollow feeling inside of his chest where they used to be. Ventus is gone now as well and that makes Sora even more restless. While he knows he should be so happy that they went home to somewhere that’s safe he has to admit that he does miss them. A lot.
After some time Sora decided that it would be best if he moved out of his current residence and in with Vanitas and Mira instead. The house reminds him too much of his departed bondmates, their smell and magic still lingering in the things and spaces where they used to be. So being with his first bondmate seems like the most logical thing he can do for his poor little monster heart.
He walks up the path to the house he’ll now call his home with one last box of things. It’s mostly just junk and trinkets that he’s collected over his time living here in Aefenglom. And maybe a few toys that he’s been collecting for the children down at the orphanage. He knocks the door open with one hip and calls out.]

[ Vanitas could say that he's doing this for Sora's sake. That he's concerned about the other's behavior now that the other bondmates are gone. It could be that he worries for Sora's emotional state and being able to handle it all. Those are all of the things that he could say. None of that would be completely true of course. Yes, Vanitas doesn't like it when Sora is distressed and worried or even sad. Part of it is because he cares about Sora but the other part is that he doesn't like feeling all of that across their bond.
The reality is that Vanitas is selfish. It's not purely about Sora escaping a place that will just make him sad. It's also about having his bondmate within reach. Right there with him.
When Sora knocks open the door, Vanitas snorts. He's already put stuff up in his room - their room - for the Puca to sort and begin to put out. ]
Better be. I'm the one that's been here for a year yet you're the one that has the most stuff.

[ He rolls his eyes at Sora's teasing. From there Vanitas just goes back into the bedroom, waiting for the other to catch up.

[Sora follows and sets his last box on the desk with a bit of a shuffle. His long rabbit ears twitch and his nose wiggles when he realizes that this really is going to be their shared room now. Not that he left much in the first place but still! It's official.

[Sora's nose twitches. There's something about this room that is just perfect now. It has both their things inside of it. He can smell the mingling scent of his bondmate's magic in the room. But there's just something... missing... He pouts and crosses his arms.]

[ Actually it's not the nose against cheek that is weird or strange. Sora does this all of the time. Even the habit of taking in a deep breath. By now Vanitas has figured out it's something of a reassurance thing.

[He lets out a tiny chitter. It's not near the new moon yet... But he's feeling fussy still. So he keeps inhaling softly. It is reassuring and it makes it clear that Vanitas is here.

[It feels good to be pet!! So much that Sora nuzzles some more and then suddenly drops his head so that his nose is touching Vanitas' neck.]

[ See, the cheek is one thing. Vanitas isn't going to be startled by that. But the nose to the neck sends a shudder down his spine. He has to take a steadying breath before he can even think to speak.

[Perhaps call it Sora's monster tendencies or something else but as soon as Vanitas sighs Sora chitters. He pulls on Vanitas and then suddenly nips at Vanitas neck once. Like a love bite but a little harder.
