Who: Akechi and Sylvia
When: Early September
Where: Monster House + Tea House
What: Talking
Warnings: None so far.
It hadn't been hard to miss Sylvia's mood last night, even from a different neighborhood. When the two of them are normally so conscientious about monitoring their Bond those sorts of sudden surges are impossible to miss. But she's not dead and she's not in danger, and though her bad mood has persisted it's also mellowed out considerably. So. Time to do something.
Akechi is not a considerate person. He just isn't, and making sure his Bond partner is feeling stable is as much to his benefit as it is to hers. Still, he makes a point of heading over at what he knows to be a reasonable hour for her. Saburo accompanies him this time, perched on Akechi's shoulder and carefully preening his incoming winter plumage.
Sylvia is easy to spot before he even reaches the house. Akechi lets himself into the front garden (they really need to lock their gate more often) and towards the flower bed. He stops short of stepping off the path, though Saburo lets out an excited caw and launches himself at her. At least now he doesn't need to announce himself.
"The tea house is debuting some seasonal blends today." Maybe it's abrupt, but if she wants to talk about her feelings she'll tell him - and if she just wants a distraction, she won't. Easier to just start with this.
