Although he knows such shallow breaths aren't going to help him with getting the air back, stabs of pain discourage him from drawing anything deeper. Ramesses brings a hand to his chest. Never one to learn the healing arts like some of the other Witches, the most he can do is dull the area just enough to catch his breath.]

If there's one sound he never wants to hear again, that would be near the top of the list, but whatever irritation it might bring about is quickly minimized by the response. He calls upon years and years of discipline that he hasn't had to rely on for thousands of years, lessening the tremor as much as he can until it seems almost negligible.
