It is modest in size, I shall give you that. But we did not possess currency in my era, so this is a bit closer to what I am accustomed to than it otherwise would be.

[People farmed for themselves, of course, but the ultimate goal was to be certain there would be enough food in storage for those who could not fend for themselves in that manner and in times of hardship. So, Ozymandias thinks of this garden much in the same way.]

I would agree with you about many of those here. Farming is not as commonplace in the modern era of my world, so I would imagine it is the same for them in their respective worlds.
