<sub>[It always feels great to know one's eye for fashion is being, well, appreciated. Hired as a consultant to judge the models who were sporting more avant-garde looks, Tataru was more than eager to get right to it and do what she was being paid for. Money was always something that motivated her but money paired with clothing and sewing? Yeah, sign her up.

There are a few different scenarios you might find yourself in with Tataru:

This eager little lady has been assigned to you, yes you, to judge the current look you've been tasked with flaunting. Throwing open the door one would expect to see a person of normal height but...no. You get a little lady no more than three feet, big long ears and a rotund build. Despite her small stature she's quick on her feet, eager to make adjustments as she sees fit. If she knows you she wastes no time getting up close and personal, tugging on the hems of skirts or shirts, a measuring tape thrown over her neck and shoulders.

If she doesn't know you she at least keeps her hands to herself initially, but that doesn't stop her from cocking her head and saying what she thinks. Does the color suit you? Are things a bit too tight or too loose? Critique and compliments flow freely as the Lalafell gets to work.]</sub>

Don't fret now, don't fret-! I'll be sure you look stunning once I'm done with you.

<sub>[Or, alternatively, you might be sitting, behaving as best you can, while Tataru works on stitching something quickly while the garments are being worn. Perhaps it's a small accessory she's adding and she's being rather chatty. Do you know her? Are you catching up? Or are you a stranger and she's being nosy?

Or, worst case scenario, maybe you split a seam when bending over or trying to reach for something. Where did you rip it? In the latter case, well...there's only one course of action.]</sub>

Take that off, won't you? I'll stitch what you ripped up quick and they'll never have to know.

[Prompto just wanted to get a new vest. That's all he wanted! Why did his pants have to split right when he bent down? And in front of Tataru! Why?!

It takes him a minute to realize what she's said as he tries to cover the much larger tail hole now in his pants.]

Uh, right here?

[ tendou dramatically throws himself through curtains as he finishes changing, into an exotic . . . dress he's not afraid to wear, rather strutting with a festively held-high crest of pink feathers and confident puffing all around. he smells a queen, and it's precisely why he even puts himself through this particular job. that, and!! he likes being flashy. ]

I'm ready for my catwalk.

[ Yona is standing before one of the large mirrors staring down at the in-progress outfit she's sampling with a mildly puzzled look. This is certainly like nothing she'd ever worn before - not even like anything she'd ever seen in her lands. Then again, she's far more accustomed to simple robes and the hanboks she'd worn in the palace.

When Tataru bustles in, she turns to shoot that puzzled look at her instead. ]

What kind of clothing is this? Am I wearing it correctly?

[Near isn't a fan of shopping for clothes. He tends to have one type of clothing that he wears and that's it. If he has two sets of it that's enough for him - he can wear one while the other is being washed.

But here the task of washing his clothes is left up to him, and washing one set of clothing every night feels like a poor use of time on his part. He needs multiple outfits so that he can give it a few days.

What a pain.

The teen has been dressing himself since he arrived, which means he's wearing baggy, ill-fitting clothing and his hair is a mess. At least his lower half is that of a snake so pants aren't an issue.

He twirls one finger idly in his hair as he stares at a rack of clothing, brows furrowed. It's practically a cry for help.]

_{[RIP Prompto. It's not his fault that the pants ripped...clearly the person who made them didn't factor the movement of a tail into the equation.]}

Yes? _{[She sees nothing wrong with what she's asked. Then again...]} Are you not wearing any undergarments?

[Spluttering!]

That's not it! We're in the middle of the store, Tataru! I don't want everyone to see my ass!

We're the only ones in here right now, Prompto.

_{[Although...there is a front window. Hmm...okay. You win buddy.]}

Let's go to the back room then. No peepers will see you there.

[And when she says "We're the only ones in here", Prompto points to the rather large front window because no sir.

At least Tataru concedes, which means Prompto gets to shuffle sideways so no one gets a peek as he heads to the back room.]

Thanks. I guess I need to get new pants after all, if these ripped.

[ Saori just wanted some help regarding clothes and having a tail as ridiculous as hers. In a way, she envies Turnskins because at least their tails could be thin and maneuverable or a fluffy to hide some of the wear and tear. No, she ended up with a crocodile tail.

She just happened to reach down to get a better look at one of the bolts of fabric that caught her eye, when she hears that rip coming from her skirt. She freezes. ]

Oh for the love of the gods, not this again.

[seemstressed]

_{[No one's staring through the windows, at least. Poor Prompto. Shooing him toward the back room she's at least kind enough to close the door behind them.]}

Don't worry, I'll stitch it. I just need them from you.

Yeah, okay.

[It takes a little doing so he doesn't rip them more, but eventually Prompto tugs his pants off and finds a seat.]

I mean, I need new pants anyway, but I like those!

[seemstressed]

<sub>[She wasn't expecting him to appear dressed in such an...avant garde fashion but here Tendou is in all his chimerical glory. He's puffing and strutting and he's found a queen indeed - a queen that can't help but crack up at the sight of him.

Sorry buddy, it's a bit much.]</sub>

I see as much. I have a feeling though that such an outfit won't catch on.

_{[Now what could Yona possibly be wearing? Why, it's a pair of frilly pink shorts with suspenders and a white, short sleeved blouse. It's pretty cute, all things considered, and the pinky rose color of the shorts goes well with her hair. In comes Tataru, full of smiles and energy as she survey's Yona's outfit. So far so good! Or at least she thinks so.]}

They're shorts with suspenders, Princess! And you're wearing it quite well!

_{[Sure, a few adjustments could be made, but it's a far better ensemble than some of the other outfits Tataru's seen on display.]}

Okay, well, not exactly a snake. A person with half a snake body. Slithery and covered in scales. It's not like she's trying to be judgmental, but beastmen of the reptilian sort always had her on alert. Being three feet tall and tasty as she was, Tataru was well aware of how Lalafell were easy prey for all sorts of monsters back in Eorzea. It's only natural that the sight of such a tail would send a small shiver down her back.

She'll get over it though. She always seems to...and besides, this guy isn't doing anything frightening. If anything he seems a right mess. It's...a bit pitiful really. Sad. Oh dear...]</sub>

Did you need help trying to pick out something to wear?

_{[She knows he does, she's seen that look before.]}

_{[Those large, sensitive ears of Tataru's hear the rip loud and clear as she finds herself summoned by the sound. In she hurries to assess the damage, finding a rather embarrassed woman. Oh dear...]}

Are you all right?

_{[The answer is no, Tataru's well aware of that, but she might as well ask to be certain. Her ears don't lie, she knows that, but still. Best to hear it from the other lady's lips before jumping into action.]}

We can get you new pants, that's no trouble...but you'll need pants to wear in the meantime.

_{[Especially since Prompto is the bashful type, apparently. She moves over to where he is, small hand out to demand the garment from him.]}

I'm sure the tear isn't too terrible.

_{[Probably...]}

Physically, I'm fine. Can't say the same about my skirt though. This happens a lot more often that I'd like.

[She sighs as she stands up to assess the damage. Of course it's near her tail, revealing a bit of her fox legs.]

This happens a lot more often than I'd like. I'd hate to impose, but would you be able to help me?

["Apparently." Tataru have you met him?!

The tear is...pretty bad, all things considered, going all the way from the tail-hole to well past the seat of the pants.]

[He absolutely does, but he'll frown and do his best to look as though he doesn't, which results in him merely looking uncomfortable instead.

Is she a monster? A fairy, maybe? He doesn't want to be offensive. She could simply be a little person instead. He's never met someone this naturally tiny.]

No, I'm fine. I'm not very picky.

[Which is apparent. He doesn't even know what his actual clothing size is, as he often just grabs for anything labeled "small" - and that can often still be too big for him.

He pulls his tail into a closer circle around him, wary about getting in the way of other patrons. (And he has his tail stepped on enough as it is.)]

[ He's not sure why he ended up deciding to work here. He's a little awkward feeling, but at least there's someone he knows here, working on the outfits. And someone he's pretty comfortable with, even. He's been on his best behavior, and he lifts an arm so that she can stitch it while he has it on. ]

[ seeing the small white of her teeth is everything tendou needs to know he did something correct: reactions, positive or negative, is all he really seeks, and positive ones are just delightfully mushy. he strikes a bending sideways pose, legs apart, ] We're too surrounded by normies, aren't we?

[ and sliding very, very slowly into an impressive split. ]

[ Okay but Yona just stares at the shorts in the reflection. And then back at Tataru. ]

Thank you. But... where is the rest of it?

[ Surely she can't go anywhere with her legs out and exposed like this! This is just the undergarments... right? ]

_{[There's a hum as she holds the pair of pants up to her face, peering through said rip as she sticks a teeny finger through it. It's fairly big, but nothing she can't fix, even if it does seem like the situation is dire.]}

I can fix it. Give me a moment while I find a needle and thread that matches.

[seemstressed]

_{[She can't help but watch in fascination as he slowly begins to slide down, down, down...until his legs are split and splayed on the floor.]}

'Normies'? I'm afraid I don't know what those are. _{[But she can hazard a guess at least.]} I feel like such a garment is far too ahead of its time.

_{[Cue confused blinking, as Tataru gives Yona another look over. There's...nothing missing, as far as she's aware. Every accessory and piece of the garment is in place.]}
